This is a nice looking light fixture, but it is challenging to install. The lamp holders that hold the globes are cheaply made and I hope I never break and have to replace the globe. The chains are difficult to attach, and the fixture comes in multiple pieces. I have been an electrician for over 30 years, so I know how to install light fixtures. This fixture really does look nice, just be prepared for a challenging install. ... show more

Bought this item couple days ago, not too hard to install, but be careful when you wire for the power. Make sure you turn off the power and electricity where you work. Otherwise looks good and this is working fine.

I had my cousin put it together and I was surprised at how quickly he was able to install it. It looks beautiful in my stairwell, and provides more light than I thought it would. The glass is really pretty. You can't beat it for the price and I have always loved stained glass.....brings an elegance to the house. This light is really nice. The color of the hardware is not exactly as the picture depicts; it looks more reddish brown in person. Also, it is a very large light. We found that it is too large for the spot we initially planned, so we will be moving it into our dining room where it will hang over a table and we believe will fit better. I wanted to use this as a hanging light. The one I bought was hard wired from the ceiling. With a little thought and modification it works perfect.A great addition to our dining area. Do not use LED lights. The long collar doesn’t not do the light justice. I used 3 40 watt oven type lights. They really show the color of the shades. ... show more
