We bought 4 of these stools in retro gray, after debating for a month whether to buy them online. I was hesitant because I was afraid there may be an issue and some of the reviews weren't complimentary when they had to reach out for help. Let me start by saying we love the color and they are very comfortable! I love the metal trim and they seemed to be made well. We have downsized to a smaller home so we intent to also use these stools for when the family or friends come over for extra seating to watch tv, entertaining, etc. Out of the 4, we DID have an issue with one of the seats rocking. I reached out to the company and they immediately offered to send us a new swivel mechanism for us to replace. I explained that it was my educated guess that that was the problem and I wasn't really interested to try to take the stool all apart and hope that the piece would fix the problem. My husband took another look at it when I told him their response and he could see a bolt not screwed in all the way but not in an easy place to reach. With some needle nose pliers he was able to manipulate the screw in much further and now it doesn't rock. I contacted the company told them he was able to do this and we didn't need a replace. I did ask them to keep a record of our conversation incase it is a short term fix. ... show more

We love these counter chairs, see pictures. They look great with our kitchen island. They are very comfortable. The seat cushion is very thick and roomy. We love how they swivel. I love the nail heads, My husband is in his 50s. He is a businessman not a handyman and he was able to successfully assemble these chairs. These chairs arrived well packaged so nothing arrived broken or scratched. I sprayed the chairs with scotch-gard in case of spills and applied felt pads on feet to protect our hardwood floors. ... show more

These are really nice counter stools. They are sturdy and was easy to assemble. The seat has lots of cushioning but sitting on them for the first time, they seem hard. They are well made and look great at my counter. The only problem I have is picking them up. I was trying to pick the stool up from the bottom of the seat to move it to the counter and the leg part swiveled and smashed/cut my finger. The same thing happened to my husband. I kept the stools though. I will need to remember to use the back of the stool for lifting/moving. I can't slide/drag it across the floor because it would tear the linoleum. These stools are a gorgeous color blue with lots of room and quality comfort. When putting them together I recommend you put the screws in for each leg and tighten the lower screws before tightening the screws underneath the seat. Works much better that way.

These stools arrived in good condition, packaged well, and no damage. The material is good quality and the stools are well made. Assembly is not difficult, but requires a few tools and a little skill to get the legs squared up a level. Once assembled, they're solid, look good, and comfortable.
