I bought this for my wife right before she gave birth to our son. We’ve only had it for a couple months, but it has delivered on our hopes. The faux leather is actually pretty soft and comfortable, even on the back of your legs when you sit down during the night (not hard or cold). We also bought some faux leather conditioner that did cost $25 but was well rated to improve durability and longevity, with the goal of minimizing any risk the faux leather will get brittle and start cracking or peeling. It seemed to absorb well, and we used it on our other faux leather products around the house. The construction feels sturdy as long as you sit in the middle of the chair like normal. It’s supportive and we’re 5’ 6” @ 200 lb and 5’ 8” @ 180 lb. Back is tall enough to lean our head back on it with comfortable support. The swivel, glide, and electric recline all function excellently and are butter smooth. Small increments on the recline might be a little jumpy starting and stopping, but in motion and for full movements it’s great. Definitely better than manual recliners. The wood and metal frame components are solid. Assembly was extremely simple, just click and lock after taking off the box and packaging. Everything came in good working order with no damage from shipping or otherwise. The color fits in our room well, and the size is quite reasonable for a product in this category. We needed something that could fit in the corner of our smallish master bedroom with all our other baby furniture, and this did the trick. ... show more

I had this chair in my cart from the moment I found out I was expecting. Finally bought it! My son is 3 months old and have rocked/nursed him to sleep every night in it! Quiet, easy to move/recline. Quiet to move in, not a loud leather like some chairs. Iv slept in it during sleep regressions, it’s wide enough to put your feet up by your bottom, and the arms are the perfect height for comfortable support when nursing. I paid over 600$ for it which was what was what made me stall on buying it but after using it, the quality, and style I would have happily paid even more for it. ... show more

We liked the chair but it was for someone else and they we unable to use it. Be aware this is chair purchase is essentially FINAL SALE because you cannot return it without paying for shipping back to CHITA and the cheapest shipping we found was $450. I had never purchased furniture via Amazon and I assumed returns would be free like every other purchase, wrong. It is not clear anywhere in the description that if you need to return it you pay shipping back to the seller. This should be called out very clearly before you purchase. I called the CHITA customer service number listed and waited 35 mins for anyone to answer. When someone did she told me they only deal with parts. They could not help me with returns or exchanges. This reclining chair is amazing! We bought it for late night feedings but while waiting for baby we use this chair all the time and love it! Comfortable, spacious, and soft! The only thing that would put this chair over the top would be an option to keep the chair from spinning (my toddler likes to spin it around constantly) but that doesn’t change my opinion overall. I was very hesitant to order furniture from Amazon; however I did and I’m quite impressed! The recliner is very well made and is comfortable. It was very well packaged and easy to assemble. I did purchase the protection plan as I have young grandchildren and a dog.

Stop your search now, and just buy this recliner! As a first time mom, there are so many gliders and recliners out there, but this one is really just worth the money. The fabric is incredibly soft, the power recline is very quiet, and it’s just a great comfortable place to Nurse baby. The rocking feature makes it impossible for persons with limited mobility to get in/out of the chair (too unstable). No position locking ability. Faux leather is indeed FAUX; Vinyl with a kind-of leather pattern, so a bit cheap looking. beautiful, comfortable material. great support. easy to snap together. great packaging. arrived on time. I read the reviews and they were right. if you are 5"10 or more you may want to consider another option. I am 5'9 and this is perfect fit for me. I looked at other Chita option but the seat was narrower by 2 inches. I am 265 and I have good room, not cramped. I bought a separate headrest that attaches which you may find you need. The rocker and spin motion were not a priority for me but I love them both. I wanted cup holders but they were not a top priority for me. I can make do. ... show more
