Trim excess film with a sharp razor or knife I'm looking for night time closure for my window not just Daytime, is it a right thing? Sorry, the one way window privacy film doesn't work at night. When the outside light is getting weaker at night, the mirror effect of outside glass will disappear and reverse. If you need 2 way privacy, our frosted film will be a great choice. Why it has bubbles and then fall off? what should I do to make it stick well? Spray a lot of water, the more, the better. Scrape all bubbles out. Before applying, remember to tear off the protective film. Clean glass surface throughly, leave a distance of 1-2 cm between the film and the window frame to prevent air bubbles. Is this installed on the outside or inside? Does the tinted or silver side go against window? The static cling window film is suggested to apply on the inside of window. The silver side goes outward. It looks like a mirror from outside. Can this be used on dual pane windows? Usually we do not recommend using it on dual pane windows, if the glass is not strong enough, there is a small chance that the glass may crack.
