When I came across these barstool I feel in love with them. However, if I listened to the reviews they wouldn't be in my kitchen now. Unpacking these stools took less than two minutes. All you have to do is cut the tape at the top of the chair and lift it out of the wrapping, once you pull off the inner covering. The same applies for the legs but you just have to cut the tape from the side and lift out of wrapping. As far as the reviews go for adding washers and rigging the base to the actual seat wasn't the case. There is sufficient clearance for the seat to turn in all directions and there was no rubbing at all as described in previous reviews. The most important key to installation is taking the proper time to screw then adjust the plate without tightening the screws at once. If you take this simple step the stools will not require any additional store bought washers, screws or whatever else others have mentioned. This comes from the professional furniture installer that I live with. He said it also helps if you use a hex drill. It is faster and allows you the proper flexibility to adjust the plate while installing the screws provided. Now let's get to the quality of the stools. We bought three of them singlerly because it was most cost effective and all three matched in color. I caught them on sale. Not sure why the single stool cost more alone than the set. Thank goodness it went on sale and buying 3 independent stools was better than purchasing a set and 1 individual one. The stools are very beautiful and has thick comfortable cushions. The only con is that I really which merchants take the time to show the true color of their products because these stools were a little darker than what I expected. Fortunately, despite the shade being darker, they still worked well in my kitchen. We just got them today so I hope the fabric last even though I did purchase the warranty that I hope I will never have to use. I am glad that I did not listen to the negative reviews like I started to. I think this is a great purchase after searching various companies and not finding well cushioned stylish stools and the price was right! ... show more

I ordered 4 of these counter stools to replace 8 year old ones that were starting to show wear. I would have reordered the same ones if they had still been available. They were very attractive and so comfortable. These stools are very nice looking, but not all that comfortable. To begin with, they are about one inch too tall for the proper height to eat at the counter. The back is too straight and give me a backache after sitting in them for any length of time. They are also slightly short seated and very slippery. I am 5'5" and my husband is 5'10". I ordered them in black. I do agree with others in that they appear to be made well, come packaged perfectly and are very easy to assemble. ... show more

I had to replace other barstools, that while pretty, broke down within a year of purchasing from use. I shopped around quite a bit before purchasing two of these. I had to get on here to provide a review, as I'm surprised these are more highly touted! Very easy to assemble - comes with the tool needed, and you just need to tighten the screws to secure the two pieces together. Pro tip: rotate the piece that swivels, so that you can more easily access each screw as you move one by one. The bottom legs are very thick & sturdy - they feel much more stable than the previous barstools I had. The seat is plush and looks much more expensive than they are - I have been sitting in them for part of my work day, and had been super comfy sitting for long periods. These chairs are easy to assemble, look beautiful and at a great price! They don’t have a lot of depth in the seat area as other reviews mentioned, but comfortable enough for bar chairs. I bought two chairs and then purchased just a single chair. I will mention it was not easy to find a single chair made by the same company. The two chairs arrived identical, but the third chair is a bit bulkier with how it was stuffed and made, but not obvious to anyone looking at them. I got these and it only took minutes to put together one stool, it took several minutes to break down the box. They look great! Bought these because I wanted to match the legs to our dining room set. The cushions also match, so that was a bonus. They were very easy to put together. They are heavier than I expected and bulkier than our old stools, so pulling them out and moving them back takes both hands but I feel they are sturdy and well built. The added metal bar for your feet to rest on is great! You can barely see it, but it's there. I saw a few bad reviews for this name brand, but these were a bit more expensive and we didn't have any issue with putting them together or needing to add extra washers to lift them up.     • Comfortable and great fabric but…

Purchased these stools a few months ago. They look great and the fabric cleans up well. My only issue with them is the screws holding them together constantly loosen up and fall out. This happens more frequently then it should and I’m worried one day someone will get hurt when it falls out.

I am so excited with these new counter stools...perfection! I looked everywhere to get the perfect stool with a 26" seat height, and that would rotate. They are extremely comfortable, and I put them together in about 1/2 hour. All screw holes lined up, and the packaging is fantastic. Absolutely NO problems with delivery, how they were boxed, parts for assembly, etc. They look beautiful, and a great price. Color was true to what was shown in their pictures. Now....we will see how they hold up...Merry Christmas to Me! LOL ... show more
