Also, love that the head can adjust!! I can sit in this recliner for hours! I am 5’6 and fits my height perfect (my feet don’t touch the floor if I sit all the way back but if I bend my foot down a little, my toes reach the floor. My husband is 6 foot and his feet touch the floor, but, this is normal for all chairs/recliners at his height). It is pricey but you get a high quality product. I rather spend a little more to get a nice product that I love rather than not spend as much and get a cheap product that squeaks and easily breaks. Only thing I’m concerned about is the fabric getting dirty quickly. bought a fabric water shield spray and intend to spray the recliner to keep clean. We bought this relying on a few reviews, and honestly, it is one of the most comfortable reclining chairs I’ve tried. It has high-quality material, a good reclining mechanism, is easy to assemble, and comes in a very neutral color. My husband and I are 6’2” and 5’9” respectively, and we both fit great in the chair—definitely a good choice for tall people. We love this chair! We’ve had this chair for roughly a month and the fabric, comfort, and build of this chair is great! My husband is 6’4” and loves this chair and he’s quite the furniture critic. Assembly was very straightforward with the base, back, and power cord. The shipping box had clear instructions to open from bottom which made the assembly that much easier. We love this chair so much that we first purchased the green color for our nursery and purchased second in ivory. Green color is true to photo. We decided to get this chair for our nursery after doing a lot of research on Chita vs some of the other popular (and more expensive) electric recliner/gliders on the market. We love it! My husband is 6 ft tall and he sits in it comfortably. Not only does it look great in the space, it’s super comfortable and functional. It feels very high-end. I use it multiple times a day now that the baby is here. And I even slept in it a few nights at the end of my pregnancy! This chair is very nice looking. It is also comfortable, and the electronic motion of the chair is smooth, as apposed to jerky. The ability to adjust the headrest position as well is a plus. This chair also rocks, and swivels. I would, however, not recommend it for people on the shorter side, as it sits a little higher off the ground. (Which some people wouldn’t mind though). At 5’4”, my toes dangle about 1 or 2 inches from the floor in an upright position. The rocking mechanism/motion moves very easily too, which is good, however, i wouldn’t recommend that (sensitive rocker function part) for a handicapped or weak elderly individual. Pros: 1) the footrest is supportive 2) the headrest does adjust to be comfortable and supportive 3) the controls work very nicely Cons: 1) the material is really rough, too rough to be comfortable on bar legs or arms 2) the chair is very small, too small to be a nursery chair 3) the seat is not deep enough for your arms to rest comfortably on the armrests 4) the seat, in a sitting position, pushes you too far forward to actually rock or glide would not recommend for larger or taller people, I am not exceptionally tall and my head is over the top, and my feet hang off the end of the footrest ... show more
