So I think its like 0.3 JI2 tbh, so has good sparkle but not super super sparkle. The chain is already broken after 1 week. Well I wore the chain with 2 other more thick, durable, 14K gold, so it tangled onto the thicker ones. The tangle was so severe I just broke it and trashed it. It must have been 0.5mm thick but a nice yellow gold color that matched my other gold. The chain will only work if you wear this necklace ALONE. It will tangle onto any other layered necklaces. So I put the pendent diamond onto my other necklace. Pendent gold matched my other gold, very shiney. Diamond is I2 so clear, shiney, but not super shiney like VS obviously. But for $200 for .3 I2 its a great deal for the budget friendly. Recommend adding a small yellow gold charm to the necklace so your diamond sits next to something bigger that catches people's eyes then the diamond contrasts well next to a gold charm. They look first for your charm but then keep staring for the diamond next to it. Like an engagement ring on my neck. I love it. Great gift and you can find a solid yellow 14k gold pendant or charm on Amazon for under 50 bucks to make it really pop like I did. ... show more

Pretty necklace. Unfortunately the size and appearance is not at all what was advertised. The actual pendant is completely different and much smaller. This will be returned.

the pendant is beautiful and the real diamond really sparkles. the dainty chain, however, was unusable because the first time we tried to out it on, the end that has the connector jump ring came off the chain and I don't have the right tools to repair that. we put it on another chain and it looks beautiful on my wife. I'd give this a 5 if it wasn't for the chain. the clasp is way to small for opening -- especially for old people. this was for our 57th anniversary, so I am really glad the pendant was such a beauty and a great surprise for both of us. The chain on this necklace is extremely thin. I gave it as a gift and the recipient said she doesn't want to wear it until she buys a thicker chain for it. Also, the diamond wasn't very sparkly and it was pretty cloudy looking.
