The items were as stated. the quality is as depicted. would not hesitate to purchase again. I started the assembly and had no problems other than needing my husband to do the tightening of the legs, he was able to assemble without difficulty as well. the fabric is sturdy and the weave of the fabric is very tight and will stand up to use. Also the fabric has not shown any wear and these a used daily.

We looked locally for counter height barstools but could not find exactly what we wanted - counter height, swivel, comfortable padding with soft back to avoid damaging countertops. We ordered 2 of these thinking we could return them if they did meet our expectations. I can say that the quality exceeded what we found locally. These are very comfortable! The soft backrest will be easy on countertops if hit. The swivel is smooth. The assembly is straightforward and very simple. They are also very sturdy. We ordered 6 more for our oversized island. Great barstools! Update: There was a problem with shipping of the additional 6 barstools and Chita Living was incredibly responsive and helpful! Their customer service is A+! Still very happy with this purchase

Good bar stool for the counter. They are very easy to put together and the directions are clear. Material are sturdy and it swivels which is nice. If you sit all the way back in the seat the side can be a little tight if you have wider hips but overall very comfortable.
