I bought the one and the card. Both are easy to install, and they showed up in my phone app just fine. The one is still working flawlessly. The card, however, is not. The battery is done after four months, which is far less than the advertised one year. So because of the bad performance of the card, I can not award more stars. I contacted support and have yet to hear back from them. Update: The customer service was fast and, within no time, resolved the case by showing me how to reset the card (a bit more complex than pressing the button) I upgraded my rating to 4 stars.

My wife at times forgets where she places things and we ended up having to cancel her cards. I bought these and we love them. They are just a little thicker than a credit card. We have iPhones, so we use the “find my” app and I like that it will notify you when you get so far away from your wallet. I ended up buying two of them even tho my wallet stays on me from the time I wake up til I go to bed. You just never know what can happen and I’d rather be prepared. 10/10 recommend. I’m not a 100% sure if it gives the exact location but you can use the app and play a sound to help find it. The app will tell you if you aren’t close enough for it to connect to make the sound.

I bought the Chipolo Card Spot to replace a Tile Slim I had in my wallet for many years. After replacing Tile trackers on my keys with AirTags, I wanted to get out of the Tile ecosystem completely. This seems like a solid replacement with a few, minor issues. 1) I get a fair amount of false alerts that my wallet has been left behind, even though it is with me. This usually happens when I get in my car and drive somewhere. 2) As others mentioned, this does not have precision tracking like AirTags do. However, it is louder and easier to find by playing a sound than AirTags. 3) I am hoping the battery won't be an issue as others have mentioned. When researching this item, I was alarmed to see reports of these items dying after only months of use. Especially since the battery is supposed to last up to 2 years. Clever wording by this company instead of saying something like it will last at least 1 year. However, it seems that they do replace items that die long before they should. I've only had the item for a month and a half, but it is showing as full battery in the Find My app. Will come back and edit my review should battery life be an issue.

It is better hidden in a traditional wallet. Thicker form of a credit card. Fake labels making it look like one would add deception, and might increase how long thief holds on to it. Does not have Precise Location as an AirTag does. First thing a thief would do is tear off the AirTag. Too thick for the card holder wallets like Ekster and The Ridge We'll see on battery life.

These are nicely compatable with apple phones and cheaper then apple tags, but work just as well. I haven't had any issues, they work great.

ive read mixed reviews about airtags and compatibilty with my iphone xr, decided to go outside of the apple ecosystem and get this. literally took 10 seconds to set up in the "FIND MY" locator app on my phone. works great, and it's SUPER loud. in fact, it's louder than my girlfriends airtag that she uses. if the battery dies, it's just a simple watch battery to change, easy peasy. a quick firmware update allows you to silence the beep by simply pushing down on the device.. meaning you can hit locate on your phone and try to find it without having your phone in your hand. great product at a perfect price point. so glad i found this! update 2/12/23-this thing has already paid for itself! today, at gym someone accidentally took my keys home with them. (my keys and their keys looked similar) and it's a fob and not actual key (i have a nissan rogue). i pulled up the "find my" app on my phone, it showed where my keys were. the staff at gym was able to track down the person and they promptly returned my keys. much cheaper than having to replace my key fob, because dealerships charge a very hefty fee to program the fob. so grateful for this device. the best 25.00 i have ever spent, hands down.

Purchased on November 20, 2022, However, to my disappointment, the battery ceased functioning on July 7, 2023, after less than 8 months of use. The item came with a battery that was advertised to have a 2-year lifespan.
