I recently constructed an outdoor bannister but was very unhappy with my lacquer which left a gummy finish when dried. So I decided to try this product as a finishing coat. Very happy I chose this. For such a cheap spray, this stuff dries wonderfully. It's very hard with a lovely muted gloss and perfectly clear. It made my homemade bannister look expensive and professional. I only have 2 complaints. It smells horrible if not toxic straight from the can, so keep a ventilated area or work outdoors. It even stunk up my clothing. And also, you don't get a ton of this stuff in a can but I guess that makes sense given the very low price tag. Overall I can highly recommend this to anyone trying to apply a simple yet effective finish for outdoor conditions. I can absolutely see purchasing this again. ... show more

I used 2 cans to cover a small desk about 48”wide and 30” wide. Note: I prepped the table before spray painting however it wasn’t good enough as it reacted to the paint on it and bubbled it up. I tried to scrape it off immediately upon seeing it, but made it waay worse so I just tried to flatten the bubbles and let it dry. I sprayed it again as I just didn’t have it in me to sand it all over again. And then I sprayed it with a furniture gloss spray using the entire can. The colors great. The look not soo much as it’s got cracks everywhere it bubbled and flattened. So despite it saying it works on all surfaces that isn’t soo. I believe the used table I had maybe had enamel paint on it. I’ve painted stuff before with this paint and never had a problem until I got this table from the restore near me. ... show more

I got the nuntucket blue spray paint and I absolutely love the color. I spray painted a wicker basket and it looks amazing. I am looking for more accent pieces I can paint as this color makes a huge statement. It is easy to apply you just have to wait until fully dries to touch it and paint the side it sits while you paint the rest of it. Make sure you use it in a well ventilated space and you protect the are around where you use it. A painter’s plastic sheet works great to protect the ground and to cover anything that is nearby. Deep blue. Nice color. Coverage was good with 2 coats and some touch up quick spray on a few hard to reach spots. I gave 3 for sheerness, because it is not sheer, it’s a full color application. These were plastic Tera cotta colored planters. It seems to be adhering well to the plastic without a prime coat. I gave 4 stars on ease of use because it is not quite as easy as I expected for difficult to reach areas. Although it will spray at an angle, it’s better for a smaller item you can move to get direct spray IMO. Really pleased with my new planters. Would order this again. ... show more

Excellent coating, beautiful gloss results, truly CLEAR, no yellowing. One thing, make sure you coat your subject/target in a well ventilated area, by well ventilated, I mean outdoors. It dries fast to the touch, but the smell of the clear coat will linger for about 24-48 hours. So if you have the time, you'll want to make sure that you can leave the target in the garage or covered outdoors while the spray cures and odor dissipates. ... show more

Great paint, have used it for many years. My only complaint---wish the company would make a cap that is easier to remove. I have a VERY hard time removing the caps. I actually sometimes just leave the caps off and cover the cans with a glass jar to keep them from drying out.
