Honestly thought this was a toy tea set when I opened it. It's very decorative and about the size of a toddlers playset. Looks great, but not really for everyday use. It probably has an intended purpose I'm oblivious to, and for that it's probably excellent. Not for me, but appreciate the Neat factor.

A cute and convenient travel set for tea breaks, at home, the office, or anywhere when you have the chance to unwind. Small teapot and four cups with a sturdy bamboo tray all fit snugly in the protective foam and travel case. Seller indicates this set is lead free. Gongfu ceremony is enjoyed using abundant tea leaves to create multiple very short infusions of tea. This is a somewhat simplified set made for four. Drink with the pandas in style, and share with friends at small gatherings, picincs, car trips, and for relaxing at the hotel on road trips. Would make a lovely gift too.

This would make an excellent gift for someone who appreciates Asian tea. The cups are tiny, as Asian tea set cups generally are, and the inclusion of the bamboo pouring board is a great touch that is often missing in these sets - you are supposed to pour until the cup overflows, and the pouring board catches the extra tea. The teapot is very small, which means you cannot serve a lot of tea at once, but it keeps you brewing fresh tea over and over again to serve, which is the general idea. The pandas and bamboo printed on the teapot and the cups is pretty, but not obtrusive - it is printed in black, blue, and green, not bright colors.

This is a very cute gongfu tea set although the pot was smaller than I imagined. If you're having a mini tea party or traveling, this tea set is perfect and the tray it comes with is nice too. I think one thing that would make this perfect is if it came with a tea pet (perhaps a panda one) that they use in gongu tea that would complete this set to perfection. The little cups it comes with are super cute and it's nice to have a case to carry everything in.

This is a very cute tea set. It's very well protected in it's zippered case. I think this is meant for very tiny cups of Chinese tea. The cups are super tiny. When I drink tea, I drink from a cup that is about 6 times the size of these. So I think this is best used as a tea set for a child. It comes with a wooden trivet and plastic drip tray. The cups and tea kettle are ceramic and the design is printed on. I gave this set to my niece and she loves it!
