The Chilvane Wall Light is very nice, high quality, and it works great! It's rechargeable, with a good battery. It won't last all day, but if left one, it will stay on for several hours. Setting it up, and using it, is easy, quick, and simple. The light is magnetic, and it has a base with an adhesive backing that goes wherever the light is to be used, and whenever it needs to be charged, just take it off the magnetic base, and put it back up when finished. I absolutely love the magnetic base it has! It's a round metal ball, with a gold color finish. The ball makes it so I can move the light in any direction I want. It's really unique, and easy to use. Operating the light is easy too - once it's charged, there is a small gold colored button on the light, it only takes one tap on it for the light to come on, and tapping it again will increase the light's output (it'll get brighter). Overall, this is a really cool, unique, light, that's easy to use, works great, and is a great value. I'd highly recommend it! ... show more

This rechargeable wooden wall light is nice. Insulation is extremely easy remove sticker and adhere to where ever you need light. The rechargeable light attaches to a strong magnet ball, and easily removes for charging. This has 3 levels of brightness, and can only be positioned facing down.

I love that you can adjust the angle of this light in almost any direction because it rotates on the magnetic ball that connects it to the base. However, I was looking for something that wouldn't disturb others in the room so I can read at night. I can certainly read because this thing is SUPER bright. There are three light levels, but even the dimmest level lights up the whole room. Unfortunately it's a bit too bright for what I wanted, but where it really shines is in the closet. I think this would light up even a decent size walk-in closet all by itself. And it IS very convenient that you can grab it off the base if you need to go digging in the pile of shoes or somewhere at the bottom of the closet. The 3M adhesive on the back is strong, so there's been no problem taking the light off the magnet base and the base stays on the wall. I also like that it's rechargeable so I don't have to use a bunch of batteries. It seems to only do warm light, not the cooler color, but that's what I like so that wasn't a problem for me. I had a ton of trouble getting the plastic covering off the front when it arrived, but once that was handled, this light has been great for many purposes. ... show more

Okay so I got this not really expecting a ton from it. But I was pleasantly surprised and disappointed at the same time. On the plus side, this is a nice wooden lamp with frosted plastic to diffuse the lights. It's got a yellowish warm tone to the light and that's it. It's got 3 brightness settings ranging from bright to BRIGHT, to blinding. Still the brightness makes it great for adding reflective lighting. It's also a portable light. That's right. This tiny sunbeam has a battery. I've no idea how long the battery lasts, but it's long enough for me to do some light productivity work, enjoy a meal, and write this review! So a few negatives. First peeling the stupid film off the diffuser took like 10 minutes. It's like someone took cling wrap and a heat gun to this thing. Okay but for the things you actually might care about, the base of this is actually a little block with a metal ball on it. The light itself has a super strong disc magnet on it. It's strong enough to attach to a metal surface which is great and you can remove it to charge it. The downside is that the magnet is a nice touch, but since it's a ball, the magnet isn't quite strong enough to hold the lamp at an angle. So if you try to touch the capacitive touch button to power this thing on or change the brightness or adjust it, this thing is likely to just droop down. The base itself has an adhesive on it for easy mounting. For me, I'm using this for background lighting so it does the job great, but I can see where it might fall short if I was hoping to adjust the angle/brightness more. ... show more

I was really excited about these, but unfortunately they last less than 24 hours on a full charge, even when used only one hour a day. This is applicable to both lights, so it wasn’t that one was a dud.
