I remember when these things used to be made from real stone. This is a cheap resin imitation that quite frankly I do not see lasting very long. The fountain part doesn't fit the base, either. Haven't tried it with water yet, but I just have a feeling I will be disappointed. Can't imagined the water staying put when the fountain and base aren't the same size. I did not like that the fountain itself makes almost no sound. The motor emits more sound than the falling water. I bought it for the "relaxing sound," but it's not there. I returned the fountain.

I have this in my office at work. People comment on it daily. I bet I've heard "Oh, I like your fountain!" at least a few dozen times. I have really enjoyed it. I would have given it 5 stars on everything but it is kind of quiet. Even still, I do love it!!
