The ChillGo Neck Fan works very well. I like how you can direct the air flow by turning the two ends to your liking and its two additional fans toward the back cool the back of your neck. These two features allow this fan to cool you quickly. It's easy to use and, when left on low, the battery lasts all day. It's great indoors, but outside you have to realize that none of these fans are air conditioners, so the fan will blow warm air in hot weather. You can solve that issue by dabbing a wet, squeezed-out face cloth, about your face and neck, the water evaporation will cool you. But don't use a spray bottle. It's not a good idea to get the fan wet . The fan is a little heavy on your neck but you get used to it. Even so, it's great to carry a breeze, hands free, wherever you go. ... show more

I bought one $17 neck fan that turned out to be not very strong. Then, I bought this one for $24.99 believing it'd be much better from all it says in the description. But in my opinion, this neck fan is not very powerful. I already could tell from the pictures that it's big, but it is not heavy for me. And it's definitely not very quiet. For me, its sound/noise is normal volume for normal fans. And in my experience, neck fans that cost $29 or less all say they're very strong, but they're not at all adequate for someone who gets very hot. It seems to me that in order to have a very powerful neck fan, the only way to go is buying one that costs more than $30. You waste your money if you buy a cheaper neck fan if you are someone who gets very hot. THESE ARE ONLY MY OPINIONS. I am a person who gets very hot and I need a powerful neck fan. I have two neck fans, from two different brands. This one is a little larger, a little heavier, and also a little more powerful I like that it folds, comes with a small pouch, and holds the charge well. It is not noisy, but of course the wind created by the fan, that flow of air past your ears, creates a white noise background which makes it a little difficult to hear other people's voices. It sits on the neck nice and tight (well, I am a big guy, smaller people may find it a little too loose), which enables me to play pickleball on hot days while wearing it. It cools down my head, dries out the sweat, and makes me feel a little cooler. Be aware, though, that when it gets really hot (when temperature reaches about 86 F / 30 C), its cooling effect decreases dramatically. It may be helping a little when it is very hot, but not by much. Its "sweat spot" seems to be between about 24 C and 28 C, in that moderate heat range its effect is the most noticeable. I would guess, in high humidity climate it would not be of much help, either. In any case, I always keep in charged and ready to go in my pickleball bag during summer. The fan works very well, and the multiple speeds let you set the air flow where you want it. Noise is minimal. Shape and ease of use are both excellent and charge time via USB c is not bad. Only thing keeping this from a five star rating is battery life. Full charge only lasts about three hours at high speed, so this is not a great option for anything all day. I found them to be the best air fan I could have bought.planing to order another one. I get about 4 hours of use. You can adjust the flow of air to where you want it on your face and it flows from the back of your neck as well. Love this item.
