Let me start with that: This is the second brand I ordered for our windows. The first product we tried was IKEA`s roller window blinds for the same size. We installed them inside the windows. We were ready to ignore the ugly looks of the visible rolling mechanism on top. However, they did not even stay in place when we pull them down. The plastic part that was supposed to hold the mechanism and the blind was too weak to function. Also, the wireless pull & release mechanism was tricky to use and was not reliable. These blinds seem to address all of the issues we faced. The installation was a breeze. I installed them inside the window and the installation brackets were strong enough to hold the blinds in place, even while you are pulling them down. (I used a longer screw since the provided ones were not suitable for my setup, I highly recommend using 2 inch+ construction screws for a strong hold when you mount them inside the windows) The top band was designed with the same fabric as the shade. It hides the mechanism and gives the blinds a sleek appearance. Nice touch! The mechanism is easy to use and intuitive. With a small force you can pull them down. The stay in place. It collapses itself to the original position with a small touch. So, basically the entire blind disappears on top of the window, if desired. Beware of the fact that the fabric is not a blackout one. It blocks the direct sunshine but allows the light to come in, which worked perfectly for us. When adjusted, the zebra functionality gives a higher level of light filtering and privacy. It is a little early to talk about its durability, but so far so good! Time will tell. Other than that, I highly recommend this product! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It was pretty easy to install did have a flaw with fabric stuck but I was able to pull it out. I have an expensive one in the bathroom, which cost me more money $300 and it was heavier so you can feel the difference, but you definitely cannot tell the difference. I want to say it took me approximately less than 30 minutes to put it together not including the cleanup. ... show more

I’m a 60 yr old woman and I installed 9 blinds in 45 min! I’m only giving 4 stars - here’s why 1. Seller limited number of blinds I could purchase! I literally needed NINE for this room!! So I had to have my daughter order 3 of the nine - ridiculous! 2. One of the blinds won’t stay in place in one position (if you have the shade striped to see out on some of the slats) it creeps and becomes solid - so I had to order a replacement and I have to take it to UPS to return it 3. If you look closely at the photo w 2 small windows on either side of a large window - the blinds are not consistent at the bottom (one has a full solid and the other has only half) this doesn’t bother the heck out of me - they are not expensive so I’ll deal with that but I thought I should point it out Overall - super easy to install once you figure it out! I had to YouTube it to get a visual because the instructions are not as easy - wish Seller would have put a QR Code to an installation video They look great and they’re easy to raise and lower so I’m happy with the results! These are some of the cheapest zebra shades on the market. As a result you get what you pay for. 1. Easy to install, but no tension adjustment. So when I installed these, they wouldn't stay down. Had to disassemble the spring mechanism and set my own tension. Maybe include that in the instructions? 2. They look good when fully extended on dark mode. However, the spring mechanism is on the right side and takes away from the coverage. In my case there is a wide opening (obviously not an issue for outside mounting). Also, when partially pulled down the shaded stripes don't line up very well. Spent 45 min trying to adjust it but no luck. They line up well when full extended. 3. Quality - you get what you pay for. Feels cheap when you use them, but with blinds you just set them and leave them. More trouble to return than to keep, so I'm keeping them. They look good enough for the price I was willing to spend. ... show more
