I like my rug now that I got the smell out. It does have a tendency to have fuzzy ends that you have to cut off. But when I first received it it stunk really bad I put it outside in the Sun for 5 days and tried bringing it back inside and it still smelled too bad... I ended up taking laundry soap to wash it, hosed it off really good and stuck it back in the Sun for another 2 days... That seemed to do the trick and now it resides in front of my patio door. I like it and it was worth the money. But perhaps they can do something about that nasty smell... ... show more

    • If you’re going natural fiber, get braided.
I ordered and had to return 3 natural fiber rugs before these - all the others were not anywhere close to being soft; close to the pictures in looks; or, even mid-quality. I have these in a bathroom and couldn’t be happier with them. We use bath mats, but every once and a while on a sunny day I lay them outside over a chair to let them air out and get some sun. ... show more

The rug kind of smelled when it arrived but I placed it in the bathroom and within a day there were maggots crawling off of it onto the floor. Also all the dirt around the maggots came off the rug when I shook it out. I’ve never seen anything like this
