I wanted to go cordless and love Roman shades, so I ordered these for my bedroom. They're great! I didn't realize how badly the light-blocking treatment on my existing shades had deteriorated. On these shades, it's light-blocking fabric, so I won't have that problem. These look great, and operate smoothly. Installation wasn't bad, except we did struggle a bit with placement of the brackets on wide shades that require 3 brackets. We have this on a door to cover a window. It works well enough and the magnets or plenty strong enough to adjust height. It does, however, stick out about an inch from the window which I don't care for. If it were placed in a window frame, it would look fine but it does look a little odd on a flat surface. The material provides privacy and also allows light through. As an added bonus, the material is great if you have cats that like to attack curtains. I wanted to keep these, but unfortunately the color pebble, which looks like a grey-black online, is dark blue. This should somehow be indicated in the color name so that people don’t buy it thinking that it’s more of the neutral black-wash that it looks like on most screens.

We bought these for a door with glass down the middle. The ones we bought are beige and blackout. They actually work and filter the light out. It’s a cute set. It goes up and down amazingly easily and looks good. Installation was simple with a power drill. Great bargain for the price.

I bought these to cover the windows in a media room I am building. They were to be a temporary fix for 3 windows since they were cheap and available. They look good and fit width wise very good. They don't provide a perfect lights out look, some light does get by the edge, especially, since the length is fixed and on the bottom there is a pleat that does not completely unfold. For the money a great solution though. I may keep them and not replace them with automatic blinds as I had originally planned. They are almost never up anyway... ... show more
