This is a nice pen/cage and worth the money I paid in my opinion. Although I did not use it for the intended purpose, it is for my bunny. I wanted her to be safe from wildlife and my cats at night and while at work and this is perfect! The door has a nice latch on it with a chain. It took a couple of hours to put together but it was fairly easy. If you plan on using it for a dog, I would only keep small dogs in it because it's not very big (for a large dog) and they could possibly get out by digging underneath or through the food bowl door. Just my opinon based on my experience and what I actually am using it for. Also, the first night it was up we had heavy rain, but the roof held up and bunny did not get wet (she's also in a hutch) so that being said, I'm happy with my purchase and recommend for SMALL animals or dogs. However, you could buy more of these and latch them together to make the pen bigger. Just an idea 💡 ... show more

Easy set up. Gate lock came bent and thankfully we had a crow bar to get it in the Corte t shape to put in the holes. Additionally the lack is very flimsy so you need to put a lock on it if your dog jumps on cage.

We love this kennel, and our dogs don't mind going in it--spacious for two dogs to move around comfortably. Like in other reviews, however, the lock WILL break off eventually--thin, poorly welded metal. So we had to retrofit a better locking mechanism to the door to keep it closed.

I know you get what you pay for, but with that being said this product is only suitable for small animals. My bar broke off the door just shutting the door . Now the kennel is completely useless to me.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the 8x4x6 one. It’s easy to assemble. It makes it easier with 2 people, but not impossible for one person to do it. Its very sturdy and comes with tools to assemble. We used our own tools, but they have it in the packaging if you do not have tools. I have 2 large german shepards and one chihuahua. And they all fit in there with plenty of space to roam. It’s perfect for parties if you dont want your dogs to roam around. ... show more

My dog is kind of a fluffy Shepard mix so he does not like being in the house so had to look for something quick. My sister helped me put it together and was very simple. He is gonna be a happy warm pup. I didn't get it to lock him in tho but seems he wouldnt be able to get out if i locked it. Latch does seem kind of flimsy or easy to get open, it's mostly for extra shelter when he wants to be outside but a good purchase. Make sure to read instructions ... show more

I bought the wrong one. Info says it is powder coated and even shows picture of speckled finish, it comes smooth black, and looks like paint only. With no actual rain, but heavy fog in less than a week there are rusty spots on the bottom rails. I have concerns about how this will hold up. The cage is sturdy and a good size. The LOCK is definately a poor quality, my cat managed to get out either from pushing on the door or the lock not fully engaging when closed, so beware. Other brands have better closing setups. The top fits well but with a cat you must fully enclose with wire. My cat climbed up to the top and snagged the plastic. He could have worked his way out if determined. Also it will definately not hold up without an additional tarp added for sun & rain wear/protection. That said, my cat loves being able to be outside & see nature, waatching birds & butterflies. I will recommend a similar product, just check lock & finish. ... show more
