This is the second one I've ordered to replace the first one which lasted about five years before the mechanism that controls the angle of the slats broke. It is made entirely of plastic and whether or not over tightening contributed to it could've been a factor. My old blinds with the pull strings on them don't have this problem which might be due to different materials being used like metal. These blinds however look nice and are probably made to the same standards as their competitors. The slats aren't bulletproof, so using care when sticking your hands through them or handling when cleaning is suggested. Installation is fairly easy. All in all, these blinds perform like expected and are offered at a fair price point which makes them worth buying. ... show more

Ok for a budget, but cheap in quality too. Ease of installation is a plus. They aren't great at blocking light, though; I can't imagine having these without heavy or blackout curtains in front of them at night, especially if you live in an area with security lights.

I ordered these blinds to replace blinds I had already bought from this company. They fit the window perfectly, were very easy to install and operate as they should. I did not want black out blinds, I wanted light to filter through and they do that just fine while at the same time, offering privacy. I had an issue with the new blinds I bought, one of the slats was more opaque than the others and it stood out, but instead of returning them, I contacted the company. They responded that day and had new blinds out to me within the week. They are hanging and I am happy :) The only thing I would like to mention is that the slats can be a touch fragile, and might break if you pull on them. If you want to look out when the blinds are closed, lift them up from the bottom, do not pull down or up on individual slats. In my opinion, if you are looking for an easy, inexpensive solution for privacy in a window, this will suit that need - excellent customer service was just a really nice bonus. ... show more
