    • If you do not have DYI experience, find someone who does.

I have a wood framework onto which the shade must be mounted. Knowing that, I drilled pilot holes for the screws provided. When I tried to tighten the screws down, on each and every one, the screw driver stripped the shallow Phillips/slot head. The screws are made out of cheap, very soft metal. Finds some decent screws before you start. It will save you a lot of "heartache". I would prefer a corded shade but they are few and far between these days. Longevity is TBD. ... show more
