This item is really cool, however it clogs after every bird. I had to throw in one chicken at a time and unclog to proceed. It plucked all the feathers though so it performed well in that aspect.

This item came damaged. We bought the extended warranty and we tried several times over four weeks to work with the company. The kept telling us we would get an answer in 24 to 48 hours. We never got an answer or a call back. We finally returned it to Amazon which cost us almost 70.00 in shipping! Amazon was great about the return minus the expense but GARVEE I would NEVER buy from again!!!!

The motor is powerful enough to take 3 regular roosters at once, or two meatbirds at once. There is a lot of water spilling through the seams, as the top "basket" does not make a good seal. This can create an electrical hazard, as water spills over the switch. Motor is powerful but you can hear the gears grinding dry. I strongly recommend you disassemble the gears case and grease them. Otherwise it will not last.
