This nesting box set-up was a great addition to my coop! PROS * It is lightweight, easy to move around, and install. Clean looking, as well as being easy to clean. Smooth surfaces through-out also make it easy to spray down & sanitize with your sanitizer of choice (I use activated Oxine, it wiped out very easily with this). All different kinds of bedding can used in the boxes (hay, straw, shavings, artificial turf, nesting pads). The lids to the egg storage area are sturdy, very easy to flip up, and also high up enough that extra large eggs can easily roll into the bay. The chickens took to these nesting boxes right away! Yeah!!! CONS* While this unit is nice looking, it does have a lil bit of 'frailness' too it. I wouldn't expect a gust of wind to take it down, but if I tripped & accidentally fell on this...it's not staying together lol. This comes in pieces and included no instructions. I had to guess from the pictures on Amazon, so I included more detailed pictures of where I put screws hoping to help anyone else that might be guessing on what to do. The screws on the bottom holding the sides onto the bottom plates are not at an optimum location. They are right next to the wall, so you need to use a very tiny screwdriver to get in there, and maybe sacrifice some knuckle skin. Not impossible, but not the easiest task either. Altogether it took me 35 minutes to put together, which I would consider a normal amount of time for this project.     • Really nice nest boxes
I love the fact that they are plastic, very thick and study. Plenty of room for the hens to lay. Easy to put together. I definitely recommend buying these and I’m going to get more now that I have seen them together. Also the price is awesome.

Ecstatic about the Chicken Nesting Boxes! Egg gathering is now smooth with no mess or broken eggs. This design is genius, ensuring egg integrity. Hens took to them immediately and enjoy using them daily. Setting up was simple, and they're solidly constructed. A real upgrade for our coop!

    • Awesome boxes!
My chicks aren’t quite old enough to lay eggs but I’m getting their coop ready and this is a great addition. It was easy to put together, is a nice color, and I love the fact that the eggs will roll down into a separate compartment.
