  • Outdoor run, great for the price
Pattern Name: Run:AIR60
We reconfigured the layout so the run could sit between our existing coop and the exterior run, and be a safe extended place for the chickens. The run comes with two roof panels that open, however, only one roof panel latch. It wasn't missing a latch, so to speak, the instructions didn't even show installing the second latch. We ended up buying more secure roof latching pieces from Home Depot. You will want to buy one, if not two latches to close the roof panels of the run. (I had asked if the panels were modular, but couldn't answer my own question after buying the product, so I'll answer that here). -You can reconfigure the panels, as you can see in the picture, although you would need to build a panel, if you don't have the open side coming from the long end (as intended). This is because the roof panel needs support and not just an open area. - We had to use a drill to create new holes and inputs for some of the pegs. As this is intended to come in only the one configuration they display. - The open end piece, and the piece containing the sliding chicken door are slightly smaller than the other panels, so they must be opposite each other to keep the run squared up. Over all, the wood doesn't feel super secure, but we don't have super strong predators here on the plains. It'll do the trick for what we intend, for a cheap price compared to other more secure options. ... show more

  • 4 chickens, maybe 5
Pattern Name: AIR69
This is a decent coop but after assembling it and using it with ten chicks I can tell you that I really don't feel this is adequate for more than 4 or 5 chickens now that my chicks are 3 months old. Cleaning it out is a bit of a challenge for me because I have back issues, and a couple days ago while I was cleaning it out the roof part that was propped open fell closed, hitting my face and caused some mild abrasions. The side compartments do not have a prop to keep open while you're cleaning those areas or collecting eggs. We set our coop on cinder blocks in the hopes that it might keep the wood from rotting in lieu of being directly on the ground. The wood swells a bit in the humidity so it can be a bit of a challenge to get the door open in the mornings as it does not have a handle to help pull it open. If your coop is not in a fully enclosed run, you'll definitely need small locks to place on both sides and the door as well to keep predators out. ... show more

  • Ok
Pattern Name: AIR59
I was able to build it myself. Just follow the instructions. You will need a power drill just to make the whole process easier. The holes are not pre drilled but the wood is not too hard to penetrate but your wrist will get tired either way. It is a little cheap. Not grade a material. But I don’t mind. It’s not out in the open but under a tarp so it’s pretty protected from rain and other weather. It is heavy once put together so make sure you build it where you want it cuz it’s awkward to move. It has held up great for 3 months. Chickens like it. They’re always perched on the top. ... show more

  • Very nice
Pattern Name: AIR69
This was pretty simple to build. Quality of the wood is okay so we will see how it holds up outside in weather. I did have to seal a few cracks and defects but it was not bad. I would probably recommend keeping it dry. Other than that its really great and will be perfect for at least 4 chickens!

  • It was easy to setup
Pattern Name: AIR69
It was easy to setup and my chick's loved it and still use it even though they have out grown it.

  • Cute little coop
Pattern Name: AIR67
Great little coop and fairly easy to assemble except for one thing. The pre-drilled holes on the roof didn’t line up. Thankfully my son has the tools to make the adjustments. I’m in California and we’ve been hit with storm after storm. I stacked 2 pellets and put my coop on top. If I hadn’t done that my coop would have flooded. The chicken run was too small for my 4 girls. And it was not sturdy. It did the job while I purchased a 10x24x6 run. ... show more

  • Wood will swell
Pattern Name: AIR67
I love this coop. Three stars because after the first rain, the wood swelled up and it was really difficult to open and close the doors. Otherwise, super cute and perfect for my chickens.
