I am so disappointed with this coop. Listen to the reviews that report it flimsy. The pictures make it look way bigger than it is. The frame and run are so light weight, a good wind would blow it away . No predrilled holes. Would only hold 2-3 chickens . Directions are awful . NOT worth the money at all . Reported to customer service to request Amazon remove it . I wanted to send it back 15 minutes into putting it together . ... show more

Ok I never write reviews but for the sake of all my chickens parents and chickens I’m taking time to review this one. First thing I’d say. If I’m rating for this being a sole hen house or run I’d do a one not a three. I chose three bc it mostly suits my needs. This is not my forever coop. I got this as a grow out for chicks before they go with the big hens and it’s next to the big run so they can start to get used to each other. The material is so awful and flimsy. It will break very easily. That being said if you want it for a grow out it’s doable. I did not like the run with no bottom and it moves so easy with no base I’m not sure how safe that is. I piloted holes and screwed it to plywood and added sand on the bottom. I’ll add photos and a video if it’ll load. I hope this helps :) ... show more

Nice starter coop. It would be good for 2-3 bantams, if you are going to keep them in the run. I would not recommend for large fowl, unless you were going to let them free-range. In that case 2-4 chickens would be all I would put in there. It was easy to put together. It took 2 people about 45 minutes to finish. It’s not predator proof. I would put chicken wire, or hardware cloth, on the bottom of it to help deter predators. ... show more

The Coop was dropped, by a private shipper, to my back door. Instructions were very well drawn, and I only had to redo the placement of two panels. Once assembled with glue (No worded assembly instructions, only drawings), the coop looks good, appears sturdy, ready for occupants... Update, after use for 3 months I had to replace the sliding bolt closures with brass. The thin original parts are bending. I also plan to replace hinges with thicker metal too. The "sunning roof", clear plastic on top of the coop are press fitted (tung and groove), and will come down, as mine did with a twenty pound dog sitting on top. ... show more
