Will work well in a variety of locations. I'll most likely use it (on low) in a 3 ft x 2 ft cat shelter when it gets really cold outside. The front gets plenty warm, on low, to downright hot on med or high, but the rear stays cool enough to wall mount. Its also only about 1/2 inch thick, so extremely low profile. (It doesn't have to sit out 6 inchs or a foot from the wall like some heaters.) ... show more

These chicken heaters are amazing. They were easy to assemble and have a safety feature which is extremely important as we have a very large coop area. We have three separate rooms for our "children" to be comfortable in. We received 2 and then a week later ordered a third heater. The stability and features are easy to understand and unlike a lot of heaters we have received in the past, you can see that the heater is turned on by looking at the light on the panel. I purchased 2 for in a very large coop, they heat up fast and generate enough heat to warm the whole area not just right in front of the chickens , definitely recommend , they also seem very durable. the timer features are helpful as I can just set so it runs at night time
