I absolutely love this product! The smell is incredible and it works really well. I have a very fine hair and I try to protect it because it is so fragile. I do use blow dryers and straight irons on my short hair. This product seems to really work as a protection against harsh treatment. Again, I say I love the smell of this and I also use it as a conditioner instead of a hair conditioner because it goes in to the hair and doesn’t leave residue or any other heavy feeling on fine thin hair. So far I'm very pleased with this product. It's the first thermal protectant product I've ever used. I love how soft and pleasant smelling it makes my hair. It makes very quick work of tangles too. I put a dime sized amount on clean, towel dried hair and then let my hair air dry. It brings out the natural wave in my hair and really boosts the shine. On days that I don't shampoo, again I use a dime sized amount smoothed over dry hair and then styled with a hot brush as usual. ... show more

This product is absolutely wonderful. I have medium short (fine) hair, and like has already been said, a dime-sized amount or one and a half squirts is all I use. It doesn't take much at all. This is not at all greasy, and has a nice, fresh scent. I put this all through my hair right after I have washed and towel-dried it. I then comb it through and blow dry it. The result is beautiful, shiny, I mean really shiny hair! I live in a sub-tropical, humid climate and my hair is frizzy but this Chi gives it body and tames the frizziness that it isn't all over the place! I have tried so many other products and some were alright, but for me nothing is better than this! My husband uses it too, and loves how it makes his hair look and feel! Now that I am sure that this is the real Chi, next time I'm going to order more than one, and try the Infra Treatment to see what it does! ... show more

i don't know if this actually protects my hair from heat damage, but it leaves my hair feeling soft without feeling greasy and makes it easier to comb through, so i use it even when i airdry my hair. i also run it through my ends on non-wash, dry shampoo days to smooth things out and add some moisture. it also smells amazing. ... show more
