After a recent perm, I had to start all over finding products to restore my chemically treated hair and maximize my new curls. I began with what I already owned but one by one they went into the cupboard. Amazon reviews directed me to several new products but you never know how something will be on your own hair until you try it out. I hoped from the moment I pushed some Chi Magnified Volume onto my hand that I found what I'd been looking for. I say "pushed" and not poured. The viscosity is unlike any other conditioner I tried. To put it into dairy terms, other brands were like pouring milk while Chi is like yogurt. That was not the only immediate difference. It's unusual fragrance smelled like a blend of pineapple, a tang of lemon and crushed grapes. Long story short...I'm now on my third bottle. Not only does it pamper my curls, my hair looks thick and healthy and the kicker - when I hug someone, they consistently say, "Your hair smells good."

It gives me reaction, all my skin is itchy and burning after just one wash. I’ve been purchasing this brand and this line for over a decade and never had such problems. I bought it together with volume shampoo, and I don’t know which one gives me reaction. Either it is a new formula or a counterfeit

Love this conditioner…second time purchasing it. It helps provide some volume in my crown area. The scent is barely there and doesn’t linger, which is perfect for someone who prefers unscented products. It is a little pricey but a little goes a long way. For the record, this review will be copied and pasted into other Chi shampoo and conditioner reviews. I love these two Chi shampoos and their matching conditioners. I use the volumizing set when the weather will be less humid and I use the Argan Oil set on the more humid days.

Somehow I didn't realize that this product smells like bananas.... which I'm sure is fine for other people but I personally am not a fan of the scent. Either way, I have stuck it out because I love their products and I hate waste. Plus the scent doesn't seem to linger in my hair too long. The performance of the product is great. I have very long, colored, wavy/semi-frizzy hair. I also have a sensitive scalp (I don't put conditioner directly on my scalp for this reason, though I have accidentally done so with this product and I didn't have any irritation, thank goodness). This conditioner completely tames my frizz like no other conditioner. My hair has been so silky and I have been getting compliments and questions about what I'm doing different! CHI products are always a little more expensive, but its worth it for quality products.
