I was surprised on the design and quality of the bed frame. It take a little time to put together but was very easy. The only thing we had to get used to was having the middle leg where it is. Our toes found it many times. So to lessen the pain I put a piece of foam pipe insulation/pool noodle around it. Now our toes smash the foam not the steel. All better now. Worth the price. Luckily my daughter is only 4, but if a roudy teen does a running flop on their bed then either one or multiple legs will most likely bed and snap off. This is a bed not a trampoline will be said many times. I've laid on it and I'm 280lb and heard no squeaks or creaks. But it also has the powder paint as a buffer pad between the metal parts for now. For the headboard and footboard all I did was drill out the leg and bolt away. Worked out fine. ... show more
