I bought these to practice with to make LED signs with my new laser. They come out decently, but they warp so easily from the heat that they aren't flat any longer. Tried two methods, one with black paint, and one with black cardstock. The black paint one curled up like a wood shaving when I was just trying to speed the drying up with a heat gun on low. The black cardstock worked ok, but even at low power, the acrylic bowed up enough that the hot gases "engraved" "clouds" in areas I didn't want engraved. None of the other sheets of acrylic I've used have done this at all, not sure if it's because they're so thin or just the material... ... show more
