It's small but I wanted it to be small. Wanted an upright and couldn't find one small enough with a decent amount of space for the price of this little deep freezer. It shipped fast and the box was able to be lifted off the top without even opening the box. The company shipped it this way. That was a small plus and the packing inside the box to prevent dents and all was still in place. I plugged it up and adjusted the bottom feet so it didn't wable on the space where I put it. I turned it on to the 3rd setting and it's been filled up for 3 weeks now and it's full of food. Buy 1 you won't be disappointed. I am very happy with this item. ... show more

Just like many other reviewers mentioned the freezer is a little smaller than what I expected, but it fits my needs perfectly. Also, it is extremely quiet. This is not a 3.5 cu ft, it is also a lot smaller than the dimensions that are advertised in the listing. It’s more like a 2.0-2.5 cu ft. But I can attest that this is a very quiet freezer which I like. After using it for a few weeks, despite not really opening it, there is still ice build up along the rim. Upon shipping, the box does not have a bottom, it’s hollow which I thought was weird? But maybe that’s how they keep it upright during delivery? The bottom of the fridge also has a black cardboard cover… it’s not removable, the cardboard seems to secure the bottom of the freezer. But it seems a bit hazardous to me, and looks dingy. The cardboard itself had some white build up from transport I’m guessing. I had a few small tiny dents, not really noticeable though. I am glad to make the investment of buying this unit. The reason is because it is smaller than most chest freezers, lightweight for easy moving and I live on the 2nd floor with steps and it was light enough to carry myself. It’s nice to have extra freezer space. Great unit and super quiet.

Freezer arrived with tape on the bottom. I wonder if this is why it never worked. We waited 24 hours before plugging the freezer in, knowing that after transporting a freezer or fridge it should sit for a while (none of the information that came with the freezer told us to do so). The freezer light comes on, the fan runs but it does not cool. Very disappointed, and now the hassle to return it is going to be an even more disappointing experience. Update, the return shipping is not paid for! DO NOT BUY THIS FREEZER. Lesson learned, do not buy appliances on Amazon. ... show more
