It would be easy to view this as a companion book to the popular YouTube series, Pasta Grammar, but it does stand on it's own and has some fairly unusual recipes. I have cooked several of the recipes and they all worked. As true of all cookbooks, even those of the great Julia Child, there is an level of knowledge that the author just assumes the reader has. That is what makes rating cookbooks difficult. I do believe this author has found a good balance. I fully enjoyed the book and look forward to the next. ... show more

Worth every penny for this beautiful cookbook! I like to look at a real paper cookbook instead of a screen when cooking. Simple ingredients and fantastic instructions! Glad I accidentally discovered Eva and Harper on YouTube!

I love the book except for one thing, the index is bonkers. I wanted 'Pasta Alla Puttenesca' I looked under P for Puttanesca, nothing. P again for Pasta, nothing. I later stumbled across it under T for tomatoes. The whole index is like this and it is very frustrating, I know a recipe is in here but I can't find it and end up going from page to page to find it. Too bad, I love these guys and watch them every week on YouTube. How did you mess this up so badly? ... show more

I watch Eva and Harper on their YouTube channel and like the way Eva cooks, food always looks amazing...so I got the book. Book came yesterday and it is full of amazing looking recipes...headed to buy ingredients for several dishes....tomatoe sauce first....Beautiful pictures.....if you haven't watched these two....DO IT!.
