This control is a great quality control for the price! I bought this control to replace an OEM Sony Dualshock 3 control that had been acting up for a while. My expectations were exceeded with this control. I expected the quality to be sub par for the price that I paid and I was pleasantly surprised. One thing that bothers me sometimes like when I'm watching Netflix or a movie on my PS3, is that the control shuts off to conserve battery after about 5 minutes, but I also appreciate that feature because when I fall asleep watching Netflix or a movie I don't wake up to a dead battery... I got these for my kids as we had broken one of the original controllers and these looked cool so we got 2. At least once during game-play we have to shut down the controller and restart them because they have a tendency to start applying their own input. So if your character was standing still, it is now slowly moving in one direction as if a slight input was being made. They both do this, so I believe that it's a quality issue, and not a fluke. The game players are 6 and 8, so the restarts aren't a big deal and not enough of a deterrent to cause them to want to send them back, so we make do and move on. ... show more
