  • Had different brand Love This One More
Had a different brand that worked great every day until it didn't after a year and a half. On a budget so bought cheapest at the time - it has a green soda brand - didn't mind - but that one didn't get my sodas quite cool enough. This one has perfect cold & was on sale. It can be used for makeup products or whatever, with a tiny plastic basket on the inside of door. To use for soda, you have to remove it to fit 6 cans (just slips out) So bought a second and returning green other brand. Note: 1 a lot of reviews about a similar similar short lifespan - but per month it's ok 2 complaints door broke when slammed fridge door closed IT IS NOT A MINI REFRIGERATOR - IT IS DESIGNED TO KINDA LOOK LIKE ONE. DONT SLAM DOOR. 3 In fact kinda need to, but should anyway, use two hands to close. One to hold unit in place while other carefully and softly snap the door closed. Don't need to use "the door handle" opener to close, if you just softly close with push & hear & feel the door click. 4 says also "For Hot to stay hot". I never tried it but in general, if you want your mini can cooler to last as long as possible, id just keep it place. 5 also, if you see any dust accumulate on the air cool intake fan ( very little air and quiet) but if use a hand vac to periodically to remove any visible dust, may extend life. 6 PERSONAL hack. Have a chest cooler. Worried wouldn't not get enough air to keep it cool. Bought a tiny/small USB fan, and have it blow into the air vent, and it really keeps items super frozen. Sometime I don't notice the fan got unplugged, and can tell with things lees hard frozen (frozen still, but want it to be as cold as possible) APPLICATION if you put a mini cooler like this kind, if not enough ventilation a small USB fan could help. There is no temperature control. So might help. ... show more

  • Works great .
Works great .it would be a lot better if it had more cooling space .the cooling area is at the back of it so if you put cans in it sideways on there said it works great but if you stand them up and only the back 1/2 gets cold but it's great for small things and thats what I was looking for my work desk. Update less than a year later bought it in July last year I'm just now seeing that it took a dump on me I looked inside and found the motherboard has been fried 😞 that's all it's going to last it's not worth the price or time to buy this . Was wonderful up until it wasn't how's January 8th and now I'm going to have to find a different one by a different company to see the last year or more . ... show more

  • Always On = Short Life
Overall, a good fridge! Like it says, it keeps cold things better if they go in cold and hot things are hotter if they go in hot. It keeps coffee warm if you drink it slow like me, and I keeps some drinks/snacks cool for when you need them. I could see this working better perhaps as a skincare fridge as it doesn’t get *too* cold, but only if it lasted longer (more about that below). Don’t push the contents in the fridge past where the door closes easily as the plastic latch can break under stress. I got my desk fridge at the end of Dec 2021. I kept it almost constantly running on cold in my work office, and around November or December 2023 it stopped working (no cold or hot). With constant use, I’d say this fridge has just under a two-year life (and the warranty is one year only). I’m not technical enough to open it to find the problem, but leaving it off and unplugging does nothing, so it’s basically a brick for me now. No fans, just a blinking red light at most. That being said, we all know this isn’t a “real” mini fridge going into the purchase, but for what this little thing does do, I think it’s a decent purchase. Just wish it lasted a little longer. ... show more

  • Works until it doesn’t. Great warmer, unreliable cooler.
As a mom, I was really looking forward to using this compact fridge for overnight storage of breast milk and pump parts. The size is ideal, and the portability is a big plus. Unfortunately, my experience was hit or miss. The first unit I received only worked when plugged into my car, and even then, it only warmed it wouldn’t cool at all. Amazon replaced it promptly, and I was hopeful again. This second unit worked as expected for about five months just long enough for me to trust it. Then, it suddenly stopped cooling altogether. To its credit, the warming function is reliable and consistent, but I primarily needed it for cooling. If you’re looking for a mini warmer, it’s a win. But if cooling is your main priority, I’d be cautious. Short-term, it gets the job done. Long-term? Not so much. ... show more

  • Great for what it is
I've had this mini fridge running for over a year straight and it's still working, so I'd say I got my money's worth. This type of cooler uses a very cheap and simple peltier tile and a small PC fan. At times, the fan's gotten noisy, but a hard knock on the side of the machine cures it every time, so it's probably just dust buildup. It's inefficient compared to a vapor-compression refrigerator and doesn't get as cold, but it's simple, cheap, compact, and does the job for beverages and medications. Power consumption is low enough that the technical inefficiency isn't a real-world concern. If you know what you're buying, this is a decent machine, but don't expect to rapidly cool food and drinks. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase, and would buy another if/when it dies. ... show more

  • Hot Deal, Cool Find! Best of Both Worlds! =)
This is an amazing little find! Top notch! I snagged one as a discreet way to keep a few beverages cold in the office by my desk. So far, it's worked perfectly for the last month or so. I can't vouch for longterm quality or how energy efficient it is, but it seems very well-designed from a reputable company, so I trust the various claims and energy ratings that they state. If it's not clear from pictures and descriptions, this easily handles 6 cans of pop (U.S. 12OZ cans). It could probably hold 4 of certain bottles too, but cans are all I need. It's fairly quiet, it's compact and lightweight. It could definitely be brought along in the car or on a boat– especially given the free power adapter they provide. My only gripe would be the lack of a thermostat or at least a temperature control with a couple more options. It only has "hot" "cold" and "off." I have no idea what the internal temp is when set to cold, but it's super chilly! (Borderline ice-y, but definitely no ice crystals or frost.) Would be nice to even have a "high" or "low" on the two temps, or a loose thermostat option so that it aims for a specific temp. I'm sure that'd also help with energy-ratings. In it's current design, it runs 24/7. ... show more

  • Not a real mini fridge but gets the job done
I want to begin this review by saying this. ABSOLUTELY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU BE KEEPING BREAST MILK OR MADE BABY FORMULA IN THIS FRIDGE. The product clearly states that it will cool to 32 degrees Fahrenheit under room temperature simple math of a generous cold room of 68 degrees will cool to ~36 degrees. True, but as most of these reviewers showed with actual thermometers, they got no less than 50 degrees. SAFE FOOD TEMPERATURES (INCLUDING BREAST MILK STORAGE) IS CONSIDERED UNDER 40 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. Maybe your mini fridge will get cold enough but honestly, is it worth the risk of a baby? Anyways now that my tirade is over, this product is great for the price! I picked mine up on sale for $30 USD and I'd say for me it's well worth it. I keep 6 regular size soda cans in at all times and they always come out cold. They even build up condensation on the cans, it's that cold. See, my secret for this mini fridge is to keep it right next to an air vent to keep ambient room temperature as cold as possible to maximize coolness inside the fridge. It is a little loud but if you keep a fan on at night it's not noticable. I will probably never try the warmer part but it's nice to have. Overall, if you're just keeping 6 pop cans in this guy then I don't think you'll be disappointed. Just make sure to keep it near an air vent and it will be very cold! (But still not as cold as a legitimate fridge) ... show more

  • Pretty good mini fridge
This was a pretty great purchase. It lasted about 2yrs. The hot side still works in my car though. The cold side no longer works. I used it to keep things cold in my bedroom.
