It's an interesting machine, the coffee and water comes out slowly. It works like a top, and I think it will be more durable than the three keurigs I've gone through with warranty replacement and general failures. Bought it with a warranty. Holds more than keurig, up to 14 oz or more I think. It's very quiet compared to keurig and smaller. Easy to clean the entire coffee decanter is removable, like Keurig I think. Love this coffee maker. One small note is the inner tray of the actual maker needs separate cleaning if switching between coffee and tea. (edited) I had to make an update to this review, I won't dock a star, however if you prepare for example keurig kup hot chocolate it can leave a residue in the outer decanter that needs to be cleaned with soap and water or it could cause contamination. It seems to struggle with syrup beverages. ... show more

I have arthritis in thumbs, wrists & elbows, so I cannot pour a regular coffee pot of water into the tank. I'd been using Brew Station for years because there was nothing else affordable available. The brew stations are pieces of junk, burn the coffee, don't brew long enough, making you have to buy way more coffee than necessary. So glad to have this item that is affordable and like a keurig without the keurig price. It makes very strong coffee very fast. We were looking for a simple k-cup coffee brewer that didn't cost $80 or more just make a single cup of coffee. My mom is getting older and I wanted something that was very simple to use. Now, this brewer does not have all the bells and whistles. You do have to measure the water needed for each cup. Other than that, it is straightforward. On the inside, there are white tiles that indicate where to measure water or you can use a measuring cup. Plus the main basket for the k-cups is removable and easy to put back. I also like the reusable filter for ground coffee. It has a generous basket where you can control how much coffee you want to put in it. The coffee brews a full flavor and smooth cup of coffee which I was surprised. And the coffee stays hot longer than other brewers I have used in the past. We were able to get this brewer at a discounted price. But even at $50, it is a very good choice for an inexpensive single k-cup coffee brewer. UPDATE: After several uses, we noticed there's a lot of coffee grinds in the bottom of the mug. We thought this might be due to needing to clean the inside of the brewer but it's actually a function flaw. At the end of brewing high amounts of pressure is forced through the pod which expels excess coffee grinds. Very disappointing. ... show more

My keurig died and I’m low on cash and needed a new coffee maker within 24 hours, this one fit what I needed. It arrived in less than 24 hours, it makes a perfect cup of coffee with zero effort, and it burned my tongue. a+ for the price. I don’t care if this thing dies in a few months with the price. 10/10 would recommend. Also it takes up no space. The ONLY THING I could consider a con, if you put a smaller coffee mug, the coffee will splash out a little as it’s brewing. Barely a problem though ... show more
