AMAZING - *Please do your research on how to properly use this device.* This e-collar has been an amazing training device for my very reactive, energetic malinois mix! I adopted him as a pit mix which I’m very familiar with, however later found out he is also mixed with malinois which is a high energy working breed. I was not very familiar with the breed or how to handle them, however, I did my research and learned if he’s not working he needs a lot of training and excercise. Prior to getting this training collar, walking was a nightmare because he was so reactive seeing other people or dogs on walk I was highly embarrassed by his behavior and honestly was having difficulty handling his pulling, lunging and force despite my best efforts. This collar has helped me be able to refocus his attention on me and get better control of him to be able to walk regularly and get that energy out. Within two days I was able to get him to heel on command and actually lay attention to me and only me. Now I can trust him off leash in contained circumstances (we’re still training, it’s only been a week) and have peace of mind that we can be a team. Again, please research how to properly use this training technique as many people use these collars as punishment when they should be use as a form of communication and training. If you are struggling with your dog and are feeling hopeless, I highly highly recommend this! My favorite features are that there are three settings : tone, vibrate and stim. You can use these all to your advantage. I also love that the stim feature goes up in increments of 1 so you can find the perfect adjustment to properly get your dog engaged without overstimulating them. I have tested it on myself and it is not painful, it feels similar to a TENS machine which is used to stimulate and relax your muscle at the chiropractor so it’s not necessarily a “shock”. However, if you set the wattage too high it is uncomfortable so please also be considerate of that and start low and work your way up just enough to catch your dogs full attention. I like to use one button on a lower stim that just gets his attention, a second stim with slightly higher wattage in case of emergency or high reactivity to snap his attention back to me quickly, and the tone setting so hopefully one day he’ll know the tone means stim is coming if he doesn’t respond and not even need to actually stim. Worth every penny!

This e-collar is the best. Have had one for my 5 year old german shepherd mix for 4 years now with twice daily use and es still working perfectly. It has a vibrate button that works great to get his attention. This also has a red button that increases the base shock setting for emergency situations. It has stopped him from running across streets when he sees stray cats or other animals. There are a whole group of us in our neighborhood, big or small dogs, that use this collar and swear by it. Recently purchased one for my new puppy with excellent results. This is my eighth dog. I would have never thought to use an e collar. I am so glad that someone suggested this to me when my fur baby was still a puppy. He now weighs 95 lbs and would be impossible for me to handle in emergency situations. I weigh 95 lbs too!

I have a 10 month old pomski. Which has more husky than anything with all of the traits of stubbornness and fur. She hears me but does not like to listen. Found this to be a great thing to have very portable and she learned very fast, but it took level 80 because the other levels simply annoyed her again stubborn. I coupled it with the word no. It’s more of an attention thing. She is very smart, but very strong willed. I carry it with me into an open field, and she is grown very accustomed to the boundaries of. No it has gained great freedom and this product has given me a great piece of mind of her safety in traffic while attempting to chase birds, squirrels, and other dogs. She learned very fast. After three days once I found the correct level to get her full attention I so now I don’t have to even use it at all, but I do carry it as we’re still growing. and I want her to have her freedom to run, but with safety within my command like a long half mile leash. with a beacon light which you control.

Reliability is why I purchased this but soon realized there are many other features I’d come to appreciate. It fits comfortably in my hands and I like that if it’s lying flat on a surface it won’t accidentally activate the buttons. The range is more than I’ll ever need but reassuring to know that it’s the last thing I have to worry about. I keep it on continuous mode and always use the vibration as a warning which is usually all I need after my Germain Shepard had a few experiences with corrections from the “e-stimulation”. So far the highest I’ve ever used 21. I rescued my 2yr old neutered male six weeks ago and know we go everywhere without a leash. I trained him myself by working on verbal commands with positive rewards and a prong collar to correct lack of impulse control in busy environments. Once we were solid and it felt like teamwork I graduated him to a 20ft leash and trained on that until the verbal commands were happily and confidently acknowledged and obeyed. Now he looks to me for guidance, play, and encouragement. The e-collar has given this rescue pup the freedom he deserves while also keeping him safe from unnesscary mistakes. The collar fixes nothing but if you work hard on training verbal commands with clearity it all comes together beautifully for a reward both you and your dog deserve. I randomly met a fellow off leash dog owner in a park where she too was using an ecollar and we didn’t even have to use our devices to give the pups consent to greet and then continue in opposite directions. Something about the lifestyle gives dogs a deeper respect and reward for being a team with their humans. One last note.. I purchased the jugabow brand and hated it once one of the buttons jammed. I was glad it didn’t happen while he was wearing it. For something we’ll use daily I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again nor would I waste my money on anything cheaper or more expensive. IYKYK
