I had 2 of these collars. They work awesome. I had some pairing issues and called for technical support and they immediately sent me 2 new ones without asking. Just a great company that stands by its product. I would never buy a different brand.

We bought this for our 1yr old 140lb Great Dane. He is a very well behaved dog but we were having trouble with him jumping on us when letting him out of the crate and wanted to be able to let him off leash (in a controlled environment) and have a way to get his attention when something else seems more important than us. This has been life changing for him and us. He sits in his crate and let's us put it on him and then doesnt jump on us once he is out. He recalls extremely well with just the tone (vibrate). He is E collar trained as we previously had a cheap 40 dollar one but he didn't recall if distracted using the tone or shock with that collar. I cannot say enough great things about this collar and the independence it has given our boy. If you are questioning or on the fence on whether or not to get it, I promise it is worth every penny. I love the way it fits in hand and it is so easy to use. You can lock it so the shock stays on the level you prefer. You can also set a boost (red button) this way if your dog is not paying you any mind, and your normal level isnt getting their attention, it will shock at a higher level of your choosing (we have ours set for +10). I did have to order a wrist lanyard as it didnt come with one but that is personal preference and not something I think is a big deal. This Mini educator is everything I dreamed and more and our pup is so happy because of it! ... show more

I had purchased a unit like this five years ago for our older dog. I just purchased this additional one for a puppy. The unit is identical to the first one and works great. Keep in mind that you are getting different length contact points as well as a training clicker.

We used this for the 1st time in training last week. To learn her number, the trainer increased each level until our pup reacted. We were leaving a few days later for a week at the lake so we took it along. Our girl was able to run in the yard with no fence and came back as soon as she was called, with only one click. I held it in my hand to know what she was feeling. Nothing more than a tingle. She wore it in the lake swimming for hours and had no issues. I was uneasy with the idea until seeing how little we actually had to hit the button. For reference, she’s 30 pounds, turning 6 months later this week and we have it set to a 6 or 7. Works well with my dog. When he focuses on an animal or person, he is out of control. This tool is amazing. With the collar on; He either looks and ignors, or just walks faster. No out of control behavior at all. We have only used it a month. Love it! Had a visitor the other day - he was an angle, without the collar on. Amazing. First use started at below 10 numbers, was 16 before he responded. Now down to 11. And he doesn't even need it very often. Just say "Leave It" and he changes his focus. Yea!
