I bought this for my wife because she kept dumping my Wusthof Classics in the sink with the rest of the dishes. Pleasantly surprised by the build quality, ergonomics/balance and edge retention. I wasn't expecting this caliber of knife at this price, as I bought it in (not for) self defense to keep my heirloom Wusthofs from being ruined. Now I think I use this knife more than she does.

More than I expected, most of my fine cutlery is made by Henckel (German high quality steel) but this DiiHAUZZ is the bomb. Great carving knife used on large ham and turkey. The quality of the handle and blade are terrific. I would highly recommend!
