Over all, I really liked this item. I didn't buy this for warmth on the patio, mostly for the looks. When this is up and running, most of the heat goes straight up, which is logical. The only issue for me was that is shoots glowing embers out the top, which was a little concerning. To address both the heat and embers, I attached a steel vent pipe cap with a screen painted ceramic flat black to diffuse the embers and direct the heat back down. This works quite well and looks complete. Pretty impressive at night when the lights are off!

The media could not be loaded. We are really enjoying our patio heater! Assembly was very easy and it took less than 20 minutes to assemble. Clear and concise instructions. There is a learning curve to starting the heater but once it starts, it’s very enjoyable. We are not experiencing cold temperatures right now, but it was very warm around the heater. Just the right amount of ambiance for sitting on the patio with your favorite beverage and friends! Clean up after is a breeze! Empty the ash tray and wipe it down (once it cools completely).
