Purchased this shade to block out heat from my west facing window. This room gets blasted with afternoon sun. I have shutters, but the heat still comes through. Blinds are well made and look great. Due to the type of window it required an inside frame install and the idea of using tape was appealing. We used the supplied tape for 52” wide blinds and they fell down after a week. Purchased 3M VHB tape and reinstalled. I highly recommend using the more expensive tape first time around.
