This universal garage door keypad works great and was very easy to set up. The instructions were clear, and programming the keypad was simple. Works amazing! Had an old chamberlain keypad (model 940ESTD) that stopped working. Wanted one that looked more sleek! This is perfect! Looks great & was super easy to set up!

Bad customer service
Style: CHU48 Wireless Garage Door Keypad
The guy on the phone with customer service did not know the difference between a wall button and a outdoor keypad. After a minute of explaining to him I need help programing a outdoor keypad to a liner opener. The new style keypad. He kept asking what color the learn button was on the opener. I told him I have a universal keypad in my hand. The new style and I need help programing it to a linear opener. He kept on asking what the color of my lean button was. Linear openers don't go by color of the lean button. I finally got frustrated and hung up. The guy from customer service was clueless. My customer who watched the whole thing looked at me and said forget it. I'll buy my own keypad. If Chamberlain goes down we all go down in the industry. I don't like Genie products. Everyone is switching to Genie since the Chamberlain customer service recently moved over seas. There is no support and prices keep increasing on a monthly basis.

Fantastic item! Programming was done through MyQ which took 15 seconds! Amazing!! I bought a generic keypad and it was garbage bc I stupidly tried for an hr trying to program it! That piece of garbage got returned and I ordered this one! Just stick with a Chamberlain keypad if u already have a Chamberlain door and save yourself some time and aggravation and avoid the cheap wannabe keypads!!

Great but, be patient with programming

Ok, I'm not what the difference between the Blue backlight and the Red backlight is, I bought two in the matter of days and one was redlight and one bluelight. I had abosolutely no problem with the first one I added to a brand new Chamberlin Garage door opener, less than 5 minutes to program. The other one that I ordered took about two hours to add to a 2021 model with a yellow program button. I found that I was too impatient and didn't wait long enough for the programming to complete, it would blink rapidly then stop then start again. Finally, I just let it run its course and it worked great. Be patient, otherwise it will drive you crazy..... Also, I would add that trying to pair the key to the garage door opener with the MyQ app is completely useless...

Works well with Chamberlain and Genie

The keypad works very well with both my Chamberlain and Genie garage door openers. Programming it for the Chamberlain opener was quick and easy. Programming it for the Genie was not quite as straightforward, but after a little effort, I was able to get it working successfully.

Large Buttons and Easy Op

Got for Dad's garage. Larger buttons and no cover make it so much easier to see and get a single button - a frustration with prior keypad. Pairing and install were <10 minutes and battery access much improved over prior.

Expensive keypad for 'white' learn button.

We purchase a new Chamberlain Garage Door Opener only to find out it had a 'white' learn button. This was the only keypad that would work with the 'white' button. Over twice the price of other universal keypads. Could not set it up with MyQ app. Scanning the QR code wouldn't work. Had to manually set it up like previous keypads. Nothing is 'smart' about it. It works exactly as the same as other universal keypads.
