Works great. Unlike the feather touch Chamberlain remote this only sends a signal when I want it. The basic Chamberlain remotes with feather touch buttons would open my door from just the slightest vibration.

I have several remotes for my garage door opener, one other like this as well as some in two or three other styles (five vehicles, plus an extra one in one vehicle, and one inside). The range on this is pathetic compared to all the rest. For context: I use this on a motorcycle and need to be able to open the door about 50 ft. before I reach the driveway for a smooth entry. The other remotes handle that fine. This one waits until I'm right in front of it at the end of the driveway (30 ft.) before it'll work. Inside of that it's fine. The old style with the grey buttons works far better, as does the keychain style. Won't buy again. Further context: This is wired to a flush-mount button on the bike's fairing. Can't return it. It's inside the fairing roughly two inches from my older style (grey buttons), which is also in the fairing (cubby). The other remote I have like this works like crap too. Bought that one from Home Depot, but same part number. ... show more
