Seems to be a very good Garage Door and works well. Not bad to assemble, but you may need some assistance in actually getting it mounted into your ceiling. It is not heavy, but when you connect the far end to above the Garage door, it is very likely that if you are solo that you will damage it. This unit does support WIFI. What I like about it is not using it to open the door, but more so to see if the door opens when you are not there. You can also remote from anywhere with WIFI or cellular capability open the door from remote so they can put a package inside, or even if you want to open it to allow someone else that you trust to go inside. There are a tone of options with this one. While the unit is not Noisy or over loud, you can hear it operate! There was 1 critical Part that was missing, and a quick contact to support at Chamberlin they had one immediately shipped out to me with out any questions.

This was a replacement, so I could reuse some of the hardware from the old unit. Installation was easy with the app step by step; you can even move the diagram around to see it from different angles. I made a few mistakes with the wiring, but I was able to figure it out. For example, it wasn't clear to me that you had to split the sensor wires and twist together the white/white and black/black. Setting up the door movement was easy. I got the height exactly where I wanted it. Since installing the unit is quiet and operates well. I docked one star, because it wasn't obvious this kit was for 7 foot doors only. I had to spend another $60 for the extension bar and longer belt for my 8 foot door.

This is a fantastic GD opener at a great price. I bought it to replace a 20+ year old Liftmaster (made by Chamberlain) and used the old mounts, belt rail, shuttle, sensors and door attach hardware. It fit perfectly into the old mounts but uses a different type of belt (20 tooth) than my old opener. I also had to get a longer belt than the 234” belt that came with it ($50 on Amazon). Once that arrived, it all went together well. The setup was easy, just follow the directions, and it is a LOT quieter than my old opener. I like the fact that you can open and close it over the internet using the app. Now my wife wants one for her garage door - arraaagh!

I combined it with my myQ app to allow integration with Google and Vivint, works very well. Setup was seamless. The only issue is that the instructions are not as clear regarding level or installation corrections for width. Expect 9 3/4 inch width (Harry Potter, anyone?) mounting. If reusing the old brackets, verify level installation, as the old system may have a different clearance gap from the door. The unlevel operation does not affect operation but makes the installation a not-so-clean look. The biggest thing they missed is that two flashes do not mean your wiring is bad despite what Google or Chamberlain help will lead you to believe. In the initial setup, two flashes mean you must set the stopping points before operating. If you do not, two main light flashes will lead you down a rabbit hole unless you check the button flashes. Consult your manual for the button flash definitions, but if I remember correctly, you will see 4 up and 6 down to indicate door stops are not set. Have fun!!

The overall operation is good, not great, but good. The good, it’s quieter than my old chain drive! Installation was fairly straightforward, except for the total lack of installation guide. I understand, that Chamberlain doesn’t want the average homeowner doing an install, but this is very poor judgment. They put directions on shampoo for heavens sake! The bad, the main beam is extremely flimsy, compared to T beam on my old one. The instructions that are online are poor to be generous. The overall feel is much cheaper than my old one. The remotes only have one button, the two other openers I purchased 3 years ago had three buttons. Overall, I would not purchase this again, look at other options, even if they are more expensive!
