Description

Challenger Jumbo Folding Rear Basket accessory is designed for most Pride, Drive, Golden, Merits Mobility scooters. It is great for carrying grocery bags, and or could also be used for an oxygen tank. It attaches to the universal accessory holder located on the back of all Pride scooters. Must be 1"x1" in size. This basket can be used on all Pride scooters including the Go- Go, Rally, Celebrity X, Legend, Pursuit XL, Pursuit, Revo, Victory, Maxima, Hurricane and Wrangler. Although most scooters come with a small front basket, often times you need a larger storage compartment to assist you with your everyday needs, like being able to carry your shopping bags, groceries, an oxygen tank or even your favorite furry friend while both hands are safely on the tiller navigating your scooter. And if that's not a good enough reason, you know what they say - don't put all your eggs in one basket. The Challenger Mobility Jumbo Folding Rear Scooter Basket is made of durable material and can be easily installed on your scooter's universal accessory hitch in seconds. Only issue, which doesn't really affect the use, is when it's inserted into the rear hitch on my Pride scooter, it sits a little crooked. Don't know if it's because of the square tubing twisted a little, but it's not a serious issue.

In closed position basket rest on back rest causing it to rub or scratch leather backrest. In time could tear it. But I do recommend it for what it is intended for.

I like the amount of storage space and the fold away basket makes it efficient. This is the second one I’ve bought since the first one was damaged in an auto accident.

    • It's nice, but has some issues.
The unit overall is slightly wider then any part of the mobility cart. This makes it more difficult to maneuver through door ways, gates and around obstacles. When the basket is folded up in the storage position there is 2x3 inch parts of the basket floor that help the sides of the basket stand up when putting it together. With the unit being too wide, they catch on EVERYTHING, doors, wall corners, my mobility lift, my fence gates. They bend themself outward and the bottom of the basket downward when it's set up. There difficult to bend back. Worse the power of the cart is so strong and the basket so stout that they bend my gates, and damaged a hotel wall and scratched up a door at the Drs office. As a result I no longer leave it on my cart unless I know I'm going to need it. Not good for grocery shopping. Other than that it's great. Very large, holds a lot of weight. If you have a need like amusement parks, museums, parks, social events it's good. It's built with great heavy materials. ... show more

Exactly what I was looking for. Goes together very quickly and it is easy to unfold. I wanted and needed something to be able to go food shopping, laundry, and go anywhere, without having to think about being able to get pretty much anything home

    • Great, but be careful
This basket is wonderful. It was very easy to put together. I have limited vision and no where in the direction to look for a little latch that keeps the whole thing closed. Here is a woek of warning. ... I used it to fill a 5 gallon gas can. I kept the can in the basket and started filling the ca. when it reached a tipping pint. The GoGo is too light to balance a heavy object. I had to be on the cart to keep it from falling backwards. ... show more
