- Secure Chainsaw Storage: Protect your chainsaw and yourself! This scabbard's hook shape locks onto the lip of your aerial bucket so your chainsaw stays put while you work, giving arborists and line crews a dedicated spot to stow the saw between cuts instead of setting it down on a crowded floor.
- Inside Mount Only: Designed for hanging inside the bucket only. The scabbard fits over the lip of all standard fiberglass buckets including those made by PCC and OEM suppliers.
- Same Tough Plastic As Our Bucket Liners: Molded from the same rugged plastic PCC uses in its bucket liners, this scabbard is built to take daily abuse in the bucket - bumps, weather, and the constant in-and-out of a chainsaw. Each part of the scabbard can be individually replaced as needed so you don't have to buy a whole new scabbard.
- Remove Before Transport: Saw scabbards are meant to be removed from the bucket while in transit. While the hook shape holds the scabbard securely in place, it's also easy to remove and reinstall.
- Built Tough For Arborists, Linemen, and Utility Crews: Used daily by tough folks doing tough jobs who need their chainsaw within reach but safely stowed off the floor. To extend the scabbard's working life, PCC's replacement liner insert (sold separately) can be installed into the same holster.
Description
Plastic Composites Co (PCC) has built fiberglass-tough bucket truck parts in Fort Wayne, Indiana since 1957. This Chainsaw Scabbard is a plastic holster for your chainsaw scabbard while working inside a fiberglass bucket. It holds your chainsaw securely off the floor and protects you and your bucket from the sharp blade. The backboard's hook shape keeps it secure while in use but it is shaped only to mount on the inside of a fiberglass basket. The holster is bolted to the backboard with 8 bolts and lock nuts allowing you to replace each piece as needed. To maximize the lifespan, the scabbard is molded from the same tough plastic PCC uses in its bucket liners. PCC also sells a replacement liner insert separately that drops into your existing scabbard or as a replacement. Arborists, tree trimmers, linemen, and utility crews use scabbards like this to keep a chainsaw ready for the next cut. We do recommend removing the chainsaw and scabbard from the bucket before transport. The hook holds it securely in place, but it only take a quick bend and pull to remove and reinstalls over the lip in seconds with no tools required. Designed to fit all standard fiberglass baskets made by PCC or other OEM suppliers.
