  • This chainsaw exceeded my expectations
The correct product arrived on schedule, undamaged and was exactly as described by the seller. It took some effort to start for the first time (probably my fault for not following the directions). Subsequent warm starts were the easiest compared to any chainsaw I ever owned. One short pull and the saw jumps to life. This is a cutting beast with the supplied chain. We will see what cold starts are like the next time I use it, but no problems are expected. Powerful, light weight with low vibration make this fun to use. ... show more

  • Starts Quickly
When I received it, it looks like the plastic shroud is a bit cheap. Surprisingly, it's a good saw. After assembly and then priming it fired right up. I've cut about a dozen trees down with it already with no issues. It even starts on the first pull after being hot for a while.

  • Better than Husqvarna
Right out of the box, it took a few pulls to start but then proceeded to amaze me! It now starts with one easy pull and cuts through 12-inch logs really fast. It is a little louder than my 18inch Husqvarna but for the money it is a remarkable chainsaw! Highly recommend!

  • Most bang for your buck
I've only used it on once occasion thus far and it cut through a large pine tree, medium sized oak tree with no problem. Just be mindful of your gas.

  • Powerful W/all the right stuff
I was very pleasantly surprised to find a powerful full featured chainsaw at such an affordable price. The engineering on this saw rivals its big name peers; * a more powerful engine than my name brand 20" saws * auto oiler with flow adjuster (don't know if it's clutch controlled, there wasn't any info on it) * side chain adjustment screw * quality chain * bar nose sprocket * a well equipped tool kit The recommended fuel/oil ratio for break-in is 20/1, and 25/1 after that. A bit heavy on the oil compared to most all other manufactures that use a 50/1 fuel/oil mix. Primed and choked, it started with three pulls cold, and with less than a full pull when warm. It idled well without adjustment. The saw is powerful and cut this pine log with no sweat as you might expect, but pulled strong and fast through dry hardwood as well. Once I break it in a bit more, I'll adjust the carb's high speed screw 1/8-1/4 of a turn in to let the saw really scream! OK, me being me, I had to take things apart to see what's what. I pulled off the air filter cover and the air filter looked a bit off center. I thought that was a bit unusual so I pulled that off too but found that its cockeyed angle was the way it was designed (silly humans, we want everything to be straight and symmetrical). I did find that during assembly, the filter wasn't seated flush before it was tightened down and it caused the lip on the bottom of the filter to deform a bit. I used a razor knife to slice away the the plastic protrusion and then the air filter fit flush and tight. I don't think this was an engineering flaw, but rather it was simply an assembly error. Observation number two, and I'm nor really sure what to make of it because I've never experienced it in any of the eight saws I've owned or others I've used. OK, so when I pull the recoil starter, it seems to wind up a spring, that is, it doesn't appear to engage the flywheel right away. Not sure if this is a design flaw or an ingenious way to make pull-starting the saw easier, and it does, somewhat like a compression release. The thing with this however is that you use up 5-6 inches of pull rope before the engine starts to spin and I found myself running out of rope when starting the saw cold. Not an issue when starting warm. All in all, for a powerful, 20 inch chainsaw that is fully 1/3 the cost of its competitors, you might want to give this saw a look. I'm really impressed! and plan to give this beautiful, bright orange saw a more extensive workout. ... show more

  • What an excellent chainsaw
Okay. Don’t write many of these but I gotta give it to this beast. It’s a steal for this price of 109.00. Even at 200.00 would be awesome as I have 2 Sthl AV29’s and this cuts just as good and has as much power. I honestly bought it as it was soo inexpensive I wanted to see how it did. Well after 2 full days of cutting 30+ inches pines and Oak it never failed and did not walk and lined chain perfectly. Only thing me and the neighbor ran out of was energy! I had the Sthl and he had this one and we flopped a few times as the Sthl is much heavier too. Can’t say enough. It’s a good buy and one Heck of a cutting little machine. Good job to the designers and engineers on this one! A+++++++ ... show more
