Solved the issue with adding a wall switch light to an area I didn't want to bother with adding electrical, but there are a couple factors that doesn't give this product five stars. 1. This light is very yellow. It doesn't help to open up or brighten a small space. Not sure if you're able to change it, I'm keeping it as is until it needs to be changed. 2. No "click" on the button to turn on. Instead you have to push down on the switch a bit hard and it turns on. It does "click" when turning off. I have a deep dark hallway, that is like stepping into the abyss. The pull chain light that was on the dumbest end, finally gave out (the entire home is quite laughable). Enter the Energizer LED Ceiling Light with an actual switch! Some Amazon C batteries were also purchased, since you need 4 for the light itself. But the switch, which has a push/clicky feel to it, came with the battery. 10 minutes later, my black as night hallway was well lit! This is an absolute game changer for me! Can't speak to longevity yet, but it was easy to install and is serving its purpose in a bedroom of my rental that doesn't have an overhead light. I was glad I read the reviews about one switch controlling multiple lights before I bought two of them and ended up frustrated. In a hilariously ironic turn of events, the A23 Energizer battery included with the remote switch was dead when it arrived, so the product didn't work when I first unboxed it. I was glad I chose to buy extra batteries before sending it back because that was definitely the issue. After getting it to work with a new battery, I put the switch up with some Command strips and hung the light with the included hardware. ... show more

These are great for a few closets we have without lights. Didn't want to bother yet running electricity to these. Only problem is... I right they'd be far enough apart, but alas... The media could not be loaded. I bought four of these for our living room in military housing. The living room doesn’t have any installed lighting. Bare ceilings, no lamps whatsoever. We bought and installed four of these. They’re only 100/200 watt, so they’re not too bright by themselves but combined they light up our living room very well! One remote turns on all four lights, and the remotes can be mounted like a regular wall switch or handheld. It’s a spring switch so it doesn’t stay up or down, it just clicks.
