My younger brother (who, like me, suffers from routine neck pain and stiffness) suggested I try one of these pillows. Admittedly, I was initially thrown by the unconventional “butterfly” design of them, and my previous sub-par experiences with other memory-foam pillows, but I’M SOLD after a just a week of using it! I’m a side-sleeper, so a couple of design points stand out in this pillow. One is the wrist/arm supports that are separate from where one’s head lies. I thought this was gimmicky until I found myself using them naturally instead of scrunching my arm beneath my normal pillow where it would then fall asleep, causing me to awaken to readjust. Second, the ergonomic shape of this pillow is PERFECT. It butts up comfortably against my shoulder, then contours along my neck and head with this pleasant “soft firmness” that I find I honestly don’t dislike after moving away from normal pillows. It’s just… different. Third, being a side-sleeper, I often experienced jaw pain upon waking when using my old pillows. Not now. The memory foam molds to my face and supports ALL of it — my jaw, too — not just the general side of my head. This contributes to infinitely better sleep quality, because again, I’m not waking up to deal with any pain or discomfort points. Lastly, (and this is was a happy discovery) the little divot in the middle of the pillow provides juuuuust enough relief for the earbuds I often wear to bed to nestle into while I fall asleep to a podcast or music. Before, my regular pillow would put painful pressure on the earbud in my ear so I had to lie on my back to be able to listen comfortably — then have to remove the earbud before rolling onto my side. The long and short? If you need multiple points of pain relief, a good quality pillow that won’t “deflate” in a couple of months like the Pollyfill ones do, vastly better sleep quality, and a comfy spot to nest your ‘buds, grab one or two of these and make the switch!

Have had lifelong problem with shoulder issues. Painful, stiff upon waking. Feels like they're dislocated. Have never been successfully diagnosed nor treated properly. I've gotten several medical indicated pillows specifically designed to treat this shoulder impingement, but though there's been some relief. Really, as a side sleeper predominantly, I will start on my back and then turn from side to side all night long trying to find some relief. These pillows variously place my head too high or the firmness weakens over time and my head is too low. As well, I never have a place for the curve of my shoulder. And, just as significantly, there's no place for my hands to rest, when curled on my side. Yes, its complicated. And, even though I've found a great pillow for my back position. Still, its a bit too low when I sleep on my side. After some delivery delays, I finally got this pillow, which kind of looks the same as others. But, it is decidely not! After, tossing and turning trying to get to sleep, I tried resting my head on the "wings." They're the portions of the pillow which do stick out and up and look just like little wings. There were no instructions. But . . . BINGO! My head was held in a position that softly, yet firmly cradled me. I discovered that they had designed the lower edge of the pillow to turn in, intentionally giving a place for my shoulder to rest without disturbing my head! And, then, really? Yes, there was this built-in recessed space that accommodated where my hands wanted to go, when in this slide-sleeping position. Could this be true. Were these subtle designed intentions really working? Not just one of many many lookalike pillows? The answer is. Yes. It's unbelievably true. The Wings have just the right about of firmness in the two-level Memory Foam wings to provide soft, on top. And, firm below, to keep my head lifted to properly align with my spine when in a side-position. My shoulders now do not have to keep squirming, trying to dig into my mattress to get out of the way of straight-edged pillows! My hands now which anatomically are slightly raised when lying on my side, now have a space of their own! And, they needed it! A slightly raised, recessed, memory foam pillow ledge built into the side of this incredible pillow. A space designed to cradle your hands and give them a place to rest, as well. And, one more design innovation. The Center of the Pillow has a much deeper recess designed as a Place for your Ear to Rest. Taking out any Pressure when you sleep on your Side! Unreal. All in all, a simple, but very thoughtful and well-designed pillow for Side Sleepers. As well, its Back Sleeper design which is in the Center of either of the long sides, is just as Perfect to cradle your head while on your back. I strongly recommend Slide Sleepers to check this one out. Its truly awesome.

I've been bothered by pillows not supporting my neck as they were too soft leading to neck pain that would wake me up at night. However, since using this pillow, the neck pain has not been an issue and I've slept better.

This pillow has a good shaped to cradle my neck. The memory foam is soft and supportive, and it's comfortable to rest my head on. I use with traditional pillows on the side. The center is where I rest my head.

This pillow is great as it nicely supports the neck and the head. It's soft but so supportive. It also has a cool design so when you roll your head over to the side, your head can rest on the side wings and is supported comfortably. I slept well and feel great!
