Excellent Refurbished Router — Works Like New Excellent Refurbished Router — Works Like New
I was a little hesitant about purchasing a refurbished router, but this TP-Link Archer AX20 has been a great experience from day one. The unit arrived in excellent condition and looks nearly brand new. Once powered up, it performed exactly as expected. There were no printed instructions included in the box, but setup was still straightforward. I was able to walk through the configuration easily using online guidance, and within a short time it was up and running without any issues. After setup, the connection has been stable, fast, and reliable, which is exactly what I needed for my office. Coverage has been strong, speeds are consistent, and it handles multiple devices without any hiccups. I also really like the design — it has a clean, modern look that doesn’t feel bulky or outdated sitting out in the open. Pros: Works perfectly despite being refurbished Strong, reliable Wi-Fi performance Easy setup with basic guidance Modern, stylish design Excellent value for the price Cons: No printed setup instructions included (not a big issue if you’re comfortable with basic setup) Overall, this was a great buy and completely changed my opinion on refurbished networking gear. If you’re looking for a solid Wi-Fi 6 router at a very reasonable price, this one delivers. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy refurbished again based on this experience.

Function packed router allows you to setup to maximize your connection.
First of all its a great router all around. Works well and has what you need. Good coverage, quality construction, and shows up like its brand new. Like many routers. *BUT* here is what you really want!!!! The software!! You are probably buying a router because you want to get a better connection to the internet for some reason or another. In my case it was laggy teams calls. This little thing will help with that pain point more because of setup than just fast hardware. First it has the gigabit ports you need. Then it has a nice app to set it up. Super Easy. But what really what will help your connection is the QoS settings. Find out what your internet is rated for. I have crappy spectrum so its 600 down and 20 up (yeah.... that's not a misprint.... 20... because my "area needs an upgrade"). My teams calls were lagging not because of anything other than the ability to get that traffic out over all the other traffic. Setup QoS with the accurate settings for your connection. Add the priority devices (like your work laptop doing teams) and you will absolutely be amazed at the difference with this router. Proper setup of QoS and software and less hardware. ALL the advanced in home Wi-Fi connection in the world cant beat the bottleneck of that upload speed. But with this router managing the traffic.... I can have a great day of video calls and keep working remote. Worth. Every. Penny.

Good router, great price
Someone wrote a review that this runs OPENWRT. That is incorrect. That is one of the reasons why I bought this router. However, the configurability seems good and the price was great as is the performance, so I'm not disappointed. My router was old and this router is much faster.

Solid performance at an excellent price point
Performance is good (500 Mbps at about 30 feet from the router, over 600 next to it on an 800 Mbps connection). While not as fast as the netgear router it replaced, I can enable WiFi 6 features without killing off WiFi 802.11ac clients. Setup was easy and painless using the web interface (I just run it as an access point as I have a dedicated router. Also, it doesn't force you to login to any sort of id. Yes, it does prompt you to login to your tp-link account, but you can just simply close the pop-up and be about your business. I like that it runs OpenWRT. Condition wasn't as pristine as some of the others mentioned (minor scuffs on the top of the unit), but for the price this is a great buy.

Why? Great wi-fi, that's why!
Finally decided I had had enough of Spectrums wi-fi when they sent me their new "Advanced Wi-Fi" router, where "Advanced" means they lock away the customers' ability to make even the simplest of changes to wi-fi settings. No control over anything, and forget about any IOT devices you might want to use. I took one look at the price on this refurbished TP-Link Archer AX20 AX1800 Smart Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Router and hit the Buy Now button. No sign its refurbished, arrived packaged as if new, setup was a breeze, and the performance is outstanding. For the first time ever I get strong, clear signal throughout my apartment, from the front porch to the back deck and in every room, nook, and cranny in between. Bye-bye "advanced" Spectrum wi-fi, the speeds on this Archer AX20 really fly!

Insane RF EMF Radiation Even When Radios Are Off
The Wi-Fi radios can be turned off, but this router leaks a dangerous amount of EMF radiation even while radios are off! I dealt with months of headaches & poor sleep before realizing this thing puts out insane levels of radiation, even while radios are switched off. Insane. Avoid this. When the radios are off you should have ZERO RF radiation.
