Works great. Was extremely easy to install, just attached it to an old porch light outside. Only downside is you can not talk to someone at the camera like the other rings. Amazing picture quality!

Took a risk on a refurbished unit, given a decent price break. Looks and works like new. Video quality is remarkable. The new motion detection zone setup is nice too

I bought refurb before with no issues. This time was different. The camera and everything looked brand new, of course. However, it would not enter setup mode (no flashing light) and the reset button had absolutely no effect on the camera. I couldn’t even make it factory data reset by holding it down. I tried everything to fix it including all suggestions regarding my cell phone and home WiFi etc. Only thing I can think of is they did not do something they were supposed to at the refurb facility and the camera thinks it is stolen. Piece of advice, bench test your refurb camera in close proximity to router/base station with a spare electrical cord and wire nuts to verify operation before you invest hours to install it, only to have it not work, and then have to go up and down the ladder 20 times while you troubleshoot the thing.

Came on time and in great condition. This one is by my front door and the light is bright. The camera is clear enough to see hummingbirds sitting on my vines from over 10 feet away. Looks as good as all my other ring products. Sound works well and the audio quality is good. Took only a few minutes to install where a previous light fixture was.

Most definitely and upgrade from the original spotlight camera. The spotlight and way brighter and have a better light spread. The camera is very clear, the colored night vison has gotten better. The speaker is loud and clear. My only gripe was the previous mount from the original spotlight camera doesn't work with the Pro. The studs are in the same spot but aren't long enough for the nut.

Don’t waste your time trying to save a couple of dollars. My item arrived it looked brand new so I installed it. When I went to try to set it up by scanning the QR code it tells me that it’s currently linked to another ring account and that nothing can be done until that person signs into their ring account and removes it from their account. I then called ring they told me to contact Amazon because I had bought it from Amazon. Amazon then try to tell me to contact ring. But then I told them they had already sent me here because I purchased through Amazon a “third party seller” after getting transferred around amazon they said I would have to wait 14 days for the previous owner to remove this flood light from their account. If the person doesn’t remove it sooner then only after 14 days will it be automatically removed from their ring account and let the new owner (me) activate it. Until then I have a useless light that won’t even stay on for longer than 30 seconds because it can’t be activated. I will be returning and buying a new one locally. Only good thing I can say so far is that the lights are really bright being on only for 30 seconds 😭. The customer service person also told me that just because they have a description saying this certified refurbished product was tested and data wiped by Amazon doesn’t mean it actually was. He said there is no one in the warehouses who actually is testing and wiping these products…. Had I known this I would not have wasted my time trying to save a few dollars. Hopefully my experience helps others be better informed about what they are purchasing and what the process may look like.
