Now I must say that I will buy a refurbished firestick any day, rather than pay full price for a new one. This firestick works just as well as a brand new one and it's way CHEAPER!!!!!! I'm very pleased with this purchase.

    • Doesn’t have power or volume controls.
I just didn’t read carefully, but rather jumped at a very low price. This is a very basic unit that handles online features , but not volume or power. User must use the power controls on the tv or the remote that came with the TV.

I have multiple fire stick in my house. 2 TV's and 2 projectors so when I needed another one for the room we are renting, I decided to get this refurbished Fire Stick from Amazon. Everything came in perfect condition without the retail packaging but the remote is new with plastic on the buttons and the fire stick looks new as well and the charging cable and adapter is there. This are items that is setup once so you don't need to worry about physical damage or scratches. And the software will update you to the latest version there really is no difference between buying this and a new one. You will get the retail box that you will throw away anyway. ... show more

Works fine once I got my husbands account info in it… I put mine, forgetting the old one was set up with his and it was set to UK settings and would not do anything… When I set it up to his settings, worked like a charm and linked to all our old favorites!!!
