Somewhere in the packaging it says it should be used in an insulated space... so not really for a garage... have to see how it affects my electric bill. It works fine my real beef though is it arrived damaged as if it were dropped from height ( see pictures) and the unresponsivness of Amazon or the retailer to this issue . Do they know this is a hot item and just ignore the issue? Considering filing a dispute with my credit card company. Bad customer service! ... show more

    • Wont seal properly!
Unfortunately, after using the freezer for only ten weeks I noticed that it begins to build ice around the lid, there by breaking any kind of seal to prevent the freezer from icing over. I finally had to place a heavy object on top of the freezer to ensure a good seal. Very disappointing!!!!
